I picked up some shrimp, cream, fresh peas and linguini at the grocery store today and plan to make shrimp alfredo for my dinner tonight. What's on your menu?

I think we're doing a salad of some kind. I am fairly sure I am making my peanut dressing and I might bind some noodles and other veg with it and serve that over the lettuce from the garden.
Or I might sleep through dinner.

That sounds really good!
I got a really good deal on ground turkey this week and just cooked six pounds worth to portion out and freeze. So I currently have a little bit that I left out and need to figure out what to do with it. It is just me, so big things like spaghetti, etc. are out.
I am sitting her perusing the internet for ideas. LOL

Chickpea masala. I had mine with spiralized zucchini instead of rice because I'm trying to reduce carbs for a few weeks.

Our street is having a block party tonight (National Night Out, coordinated by our neighborhood watch group). I'm bringing a Caesar salad. Others are bringing pizza, appetizers, etc.

I have a pound of hamburger I defrosted the other day that needs cooking for sure today. Maybe cheeseburger macaroni. I wonder if I can talk the 5yo into eating the leftover carrots and broccoli from last night?? ha!

new recipe for us - I *think* it's called tofu Ame - it's the Japanese soup you get @ sushi restaurants (chicken & ginger broth with cubes of tofu floating in it) with zucchini bake on the side.

Macaroni salad. This is the first time that I have made it without tuna or chicken added.
I do have tuna that I can add in case it is too blah for my taste.

Probably a Lean Cuisine... DH and I are doing WW, he works until 10pm, so usually that is my meal. Exciting right? I miss big cooking! Only do that one or two days a week now.

Eating a WW roast turkey and mashed potatoes meal right now for lunch. We're having pork back ribs on the grill, corn on the cob and kale salad.
