Hi all! I'm thinking of diving into my scrapbooking room and doing some organizing tonight. Does anyone have a great way to store your Cricut cartridges, books, etc, or do you keep them in their boxes? I have approximately 40 carts. Thanks!

I keep all of mine in their boxes. That way when I am looking for a certain item, I look at the back of the box. Then I can decide which to use. I'm interested in seeing the other answers you receive.

I use the plastic containers that are made to hold the cartridges and booklets. Each one olds 16. I keep the boxes in my crawl space. They took up too much room.

I keep the cartridges in their boxes in the bookcase that the Cricut sits on. I have them sorted by theme.

Well... I had mine in the Artbin collection but really didn't like that. Cartridges kept moving around even with Velcro and if you put all the cartridges in then the books/overlay section was stuffed. Also I didn't know have a good system for what was in what bin... I've recently moved them to photo boxes with dividers in alphabetic order. I'm not sure how that is going to work out, but at least I know where to look for a specific cartridge.

I have about 20 and I keep them in their boxes. The booklets are in a photo box (like at Michaels) so I can flip through them quickly to find the right cut I need. The boxes are in a cabinet under my printer.

I bought some zipper top heavy duty clear plastic letter size envelopes at Staples (?) and placed one cartridge, overlay, and book in separate envelopes/bags. I labeled them and store them alphabetically in a basket. I tossed the boxes (that was hard). I have no regrets.

I have too many carts to keep them in their boxes. I have two ArtBins with my most used/favorite carts, and the rest of my 105 carts stored in plastic boxes that have plastic mesh dividers (made from plastic canvas to fit). It works well for me.
I tried to do a link, but for some reason can't get my iPad to copy and paste.

One thing that I did to help conserve space was to rip out the instructions that were written in foreign languages from the booklets. It was amazing how much space it saved! It didn't do anything about the size of the coils, but the books were much thinner and I could store more in the boxes or drawer.
I took all of mine out of their boxes and put the most used ones in the top drawer of the Recollection-type white cube storage units. I also kept the booklets and overlays in with the cartridges. The ones I didn't use that much were in a photo type box. I have fewer than 20 so this worked for me.

I think I really should have just put them in alphabetical order and made myself not buy another cartridge!

I have less than 20 cartridges and I keep mine in their original boxes. I keep them on a wall shelf my husband built me.

Bedroom closet all in their boxes. Except if they aren't. Then they may be in a junk drawer. Just one or two are like that. Lots in the closet though. Some are even opened but never used.

I have three that did not come with cases and I keep them in a clear pencil box I found around back to school time.
