Michaels had none. Hobby Lobby didn't have any. I didn't check at Joanns yet but why isn't anyone carrying Brads anymore?

I guess they went out of style, but they forgot to tell the people who actually use them. LOL, don, I thought I had them all! Michaels might have some with the Tim Holtz section. Here's a link to a place that still carries them. Bonus - they have eyelets, too! Just Brads

Hobby Lobby does still carry brads. They got new lines in. I recently bought new flamingo brads- www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-Paper-Crafts/Embellishments/Brads/Gold-Flamingo-Brads/p/80765416 Look in the section where Hobby Lobby carries their brand of embellishments. My store has them in the aisle with the 3D stickers, rhinestones, buttons, & scrapbook ribbon. For some reason Hobby Lobby puts the regular brads near the floor. I have crazy women running over me with their carts as I am trying to get a package of brads. I haven't been to Michael's in a couple of months. I did get brads out of there the last time I went. I got some pretty flourishes. I heard they reset the stores, nationally. I don't know if the brad aisle has moved or not. My store is always the last. Brads are usually in with the stickers & washi tape. JoAnn's I haven't been in such a long time. I miss it. I don't live close to Michael's or JoAnn's any more. My DH & I are planning to take a trip to there in a couple of weeks for a fabric run for both of us. I will look for brads when I go. If you don't mind ordering from China Ebay has nice brads. Downside waiting weeks for them to get in. I ordered something from China and got it in a week later. I am suspecting some of those sellers are stateside. If you can't find brads you can go to Don's house and raid his stash.

I guess this explains why people seemed excited to find the oodles of brads I got rid of at my last garage sale!

Shhh, don't tell anyone about my ginormous hoard collection of brads! I must have 8-10 Artbin bead containers full of the bigger shaped and epoxy topped ones, plus countless stacks of the round stacked screw together bead sorter things of the small ones. It's more than a little over the top.

Don't y'all think the introduction of Enamel Dots replaced brads? So much easier and lots of fun colors, shapes and sizes.

Don't y'all think the introduction of Enamel Dots replaced brads? So much easier and lots of fun colors, shapes and sizes. I had WAY more brads - colors, sizes, and shapes - than they even make in enamel dots. I must have had 6 or 8 of the large acrylic bead storage boxes filled with different solid color brads and several more with shaped brads and the brads that coordinate with paper lines. By contrast, my enamel dots all fit in one container.

I just saw lots at Michaels not that long ago. I have 4 trillion in my stash but I love them. I have a Bazillion Bazzill ones because I needed them in every colour. I got all the American Crafts ones I could get and then any other random Making Memories ones and Recollections ones I could find. There is now a brad apocalypse and what will I do if I need one and can't get one?

Don- Did you steal my baby name book? You would need it if you named all your brads. To prevent bloody fingers and broken nails we all need this- www.amazon.com/We-Memory-Keepers-Setter-Piercing/dp/B003GDBHW8 I own one. After getting a brad stuck in between my fingernail and skin I was over it. I was in a lot of pain too. Like I cried type pain, lol. Now this tool has a sharp pointy end on it where you could do some serious damage to a craft robber coming into your room. scraphappyinjax- I don't think enamel dots replaced brads. I have used both on the same project. Plus, you can't get enamel dots in shapes like flamingo's. Least I don't think you can. I make embellishments from brads- adding pretty rhinestones, flowers, gems, etc to brads. I use them in making books, moveable 3D objects like dolls. I don't have as many brads as most. I do have more enamel dots than brads right now.
