Ok ladies...we go about once a month to stock up on meat. What are your favourite things to grab when you are there?

I try really hard not to buy much when we go. My bill just gets higher every time I step foot in there.
We buy DH's protein powder, a big jar of cashews, portabellos, green beans, their chicken stock concentrate, Kirkland diapers and wipes, Kirkland laundry detergent and dishwashing tabs.
And a rotisserie chicken or two because they are awesome and I don't have to cook them.

Pesto in the refrigerator case for about $8.00 US. I also buy the rotisserie chickens because they are $4.99 US and you can have a meal, freeze some, and make a great salad with the rest. Obviously I am not Canadian but I do say, "Eh".

Costco brand Tylenol. Martenelli's Sparkling apple juice is in now (four bottles for 10 aometing). One bottle is over 7 dollars at the grocery store. If you need pictures developed check the price online and submit to be picked up the next day after 12. The last time we were at the store they were 12 cents a print. Right now they have a package of around 48 Play doh's to hand out at Halloween. Four pack of frozen bacon. Definitely buy the fresh Pesto but check it for expiry dates.Costco.ca then follow through and watch for the coupon specials in your area and check to see what road shows are there. Sign up online for weekly coupon specials to come on Monday mornings.Watch in the meat department for coupons for meat. Buy the package with the smallest size of meat to save more. We buy the Kozy Shack rice puddings in the refridgerator section. Fresh fruit and vegetables are plentiful. Fresh pork ribs.Check the gift card section for discounts. Gasoline is always cheaper at Costco. They have a 2 pack of fresh spinach dip in the section where the Pesto is.

Produce is my main thing so cheap and fresh Milk is so cheap compared to getting it in my town Books, ugg I can't go down that aisle!! The big green container of cat litter Oikos yogurt Kirkland bacon Trident brand Alaskan Pollock and Salmon burgers
I have to go 45 minutes into the city from my small town to get to Costco...and anything good.
Our Costco is the furthest north in Canada. So it serves northern Alberta, BC, NWT and Yukon. We see people in there with horse trailers, vans, truck loads just loading up and stock piling. So much more economical for the people of the north to make one or more trips down in the summer and load up for the year. Interesting to see some of the quantities of things people have in there carts at the till.

Thanks for the ideas ladies. We live in a condo now so there's no room to store much extra but I might make a run next week to check it out. Both my DSs are home so we go through the groceries like crazy!

There is a new Costco opening up outside of Waterloo, ON, on Erb's Road in about 8 weeks.
They have the gas pump section almost ready. I can't wait because the Costco closer to the 401 is getting really old.

The frozen chicken wings. I'm not sure of the brand. I bought them for a Christmas party and wholly! The amount of meat on them was almost like a full size drumstick.

We used to get the battered cheese sticks. Initially I thought they tasted pretty good. Now they are kind of blah. I need so much ketchup to help the flavour and they make me kind of nauseous. They were so good to begin with, though. My son loves their pork egg rolls which are very good. I sometimes buy cheese at Costco because it's generally a good price for what you get. We always have u-grate parmesean cheese at home in the fridge. Love that stuff. My son likes these peas they sell in the candy department. I forget what they are called, but he loves them. We also get the assortment box of Clif bars, too. They go very quickly.
