I will post this on the GS page to but I am just wondering if there are any stores left? How do you get supplies? Michaels?

Is the one on... I think it's 1st and Lonsdale... not there anymore? It was a few doors down from Champions Kickboxing. I moved from North Vancouver (still sad, I was born and raised there) to Fraser Heights in Surrey about 6 years ago. Now there are two close to me, a ten minute drive away in Langley. Clipperstreet and Precious Memories. They are both good and right across the street from each other. So I would recommend the 30-40 minute drive and hit up both of those, way better than Michaels.

There is also a scrapbook/stamp store as well as a packaging store (full of ribbon/twine etc.) on 176th Street and 66A Avenue in Surrey/Cloverdale.

By the time you pay for gas in the Lower Mainland to get out to Surrey or Langley wouldn't it be cheaper to pay postage? I know we need to support LSSes but still. This is hypothetical at this point.

Well I would make a daytrip out of it. The gas wouldn't come into play for me if I was with a girlfriend and we did the 3 stores plus lunch. I'd probably zip off the highway on the way back and go into Ikea as well.
To me ordering on-line is not the same as being able to look at things in person. And I like to support the lss's as much as I possibly can.

I was there once, years ago. Totally forgot about it! i love the staff at Precious Memories (hate that name for a store though!). They are so helpful and know that store inside out.
