A couple of weeks ago, I asked for your help gathering cards for the young nephew of a friend, who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
And you guys responded with such generosity, if I hadn't seen it from the peas so many times before, I wouldn't believe it.
I've received 10 cards/ packages from all over and will be delivering them this weekend. My friend, who started the drive on her Facebook page, but wasn't having much luck, and who doesn't understand the 'power of the peas', has been blown away.
I've been meaning to pop in and say thank you for a couple of days now and always seem to get side tracked....but THANK YOU to all who offered cards, packages, prayers and just a good thought here and there.
I wish I could be there when everything is delivered to the little boy...so I could see the look on his face when he first understands how wonderfully giving total strangers can be.
Thanks again,
Kristen

Argh- I'm such a procrastinator. I have the info written down and planned to send something, and I kept thinking 'tomorrow, tomorrow'. This is a very nice thing for you to do. I hope he's thrilled.
