Have any of you tried these? JMcG had a video using them a few weeks ago, then this past week MFT has them on their blog. I think it would be really fun to make Halloween cards with a light up jack-o-lanterns or Christmas cards with the star that lights up. Here's a link to the MFT's blog. Just wondering if your average at home card-maker can do it. LOL! The starter kit is $30 at my usual shops (Amazon, SSS & MFT), but with Amazon I get free shipping. But is $30 too much? Plus I think I'd need more lights (another $30) and more batteries (another $8). DH says go for it....what do you guys think?

I haven't tried the lights yet but they look so fun! I saw this video featuring a forest scene and it makes me really want to try them: Fox in forest light up card.
If it's in your budget and DH says go for it, I also say go for it. Just be sure to share what you make!

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Go for it!! I used it for a birthday card, and it was a huge hit. I'll try and link a video DH made (cuz it was his card) later. Totally worth it, and I plan to make more.
The copper tape is a pain. That was the only downside for me.

Go to their website if you live in the US. I wouldn't buy the kit. I would buy the individual packages. Much better deal. I live in Canada I so want them. But with exchange and the shipping ended up being way to much.
