I have finally collected all of the Stampin Up ink pad colors. Now I'm wondering if I need to start collecting the markers too. What all do you use yours for if you have them? The only thing I can think of is for journaling to match a layout. Other than that, I can use my blender pen and stamp pads to color with. Do I really need all of the markers too?
Thanks all!! Karen

I would love to hear what people think...I saw that they have three marker blending sets now and I'm definitely tempted.

the 3 blender sets I believe are alcohol based. the single markers can be used to colour the stamps with. So you could colour a flower stamp in multi colours, you have to work a bit faster. then you huff on the stamp to revitalize it and stamp the image. It works quite well. If you have the means, I would suggest you get them. they are nice markers.

I have the whole set of water based dual ended markers and I love them! I use them to line all of my paper piecings, for writing inside cards or journaling on layouts, whatever I might need a marker for. I've had this set for at least 12 years and haven't ever had one dry out or need refilling. They were expensive but have been probably one of my most-used investments. The ones I have are like the Zig pens but they have a fine writing tip on one end and a brush tip on the other. I would have had to buy two sets of Zigs to get that combination.

I love my markers and use them quite often. I mostly use them for coloring on stamps when I want more than one color. You know what I mean--color the stamp, blow on it and then stamp it???

I use the markers to journal with and to color on stamps. For example: last night I stamped a palm tree on a LO and used the markers to color the trunk brown and the leaves green. I used them on Father's Day cards to color a stamp that had multiple neck ties on it.

Thanks! I didn't know there was a difference. All I see is new and shiny half the time without finding out the particulars .
