I've had very good luck using the chat feature. You could ask them for a number if you don't resolve your issue through the chat.

Did you try contacting Fitbit? My hubby's Charge HR was coming apart after 9 months. He emailed them a few days ago. They responded quickly and a new one is on it's way to him. He was very pleased with their customer service and quick response.

Yeah, forget the phone call, you'll only end up trying to talk to India or Bangladesh or somewhere else where people have an accent that's hard to understand, plus the phone connection will be bad. Do the online chat thing, it works much better. Or, you could try Fitbit customer service. I'm annoyed with Fitbit in general, but their customer service was pretty good back when I was using one.

I prefer using the Amazon chat feature as well since I can get a screenshot of the conversation in case I need it later. And much easier to do with 3 kids at home that always "need" something the moment you get a live person on the phone.

I am guessing you want to contact Amazon because you purchased your Fitbit through them but for warranty service, I would think you need to contact Fitbit directly, not the seller.
I had an issue with my Fitbit Flex (purchased at Target) and I contacted Fitbit and they were very responsive and replaced the unit pretty much without question.

They also have a number. I called them on Friday to report the same problem and my replacement arrives today.
And I didn't even try with the original retailer, QVC.

(am wondering if it is worth it to chat with amazon to complain that the last minute addition of a two pack of deodorant to the prime pantry box-the twisty thing on the bottom isn't twisting and when I tried, it pretty much clicked a sigh of pity at me and then the whole thing fell out of the deodorant container. ) ((I know, I am cheap. ))

Amazon gave me a full refund, without a return, on a dresser that arrived damaged. I used the mobile app and had them call me. They were awesome.

I agree that your best bet is to just deal with Fitbit. Their customer service is known for being really good. But, if you want to reach out to Amazon, their main number for customer service is (888) 280-4331. I also found this: If you're looking to get in touch with Customer Service, you can do so by following this link: www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us
From there, you'll be able to select the order (if applicable), issue, and preferred contact method using the available options. You can also locate the "Contact Us" button under the Self-Service options in the Help Community, or by navigating to "Help" and "Need More Help?" from any page on the website.
Having trouble with the link? No worries, you can also give us a call directly—
U.S. and Canada: 1-866-216-1072
I actually used the Contact Us option yesterday and they called me back immediately.

Well an update, because I know you always want to know what happened. Amazon was just an awful experience. Did an online chat and was informed that they would only refund/ exchange my unopened fitbit within 30 days of purchase, huh??. Not happy with that response. He did give me fitbit customer service and I actually spoke to a real live person. We were on the phone almost an hour. Apparently my fitbit is not synching to the computer. Why it stopped doing that after 8 months is a mystery, but he finally got it to work again, so all is well. Thanks everyone for your help.

I don't understand why you are pissed at Amazon. Retailers in general do not provide warranty service or take care of problems past a set number of days. Warranty service is something one should pursue via the manufacturer.

I learned the other day that when they call you and you get someone with an accent that is hard to understand (seems like all of them at Amazon customer service anymore) if you request a US customer service representative they will transfer you. I had no idea.

Tried to find one on Amazon but no luck. thanks! Chat with fitbit they will send you one out. Mine stopped charging and they could look it up. Told me to toss the broken one and mailed me a new one. No issues! Way easier than dealing with whomever you bought it from.

He was very pleased with their customer service and quick response. We purchased my fitbit through Amazon and went right to Fitbit for a replacement when it fell apart. Now my replacement is falling apart and I have only had it about 9 months. They are NOT made for long term use.

On my phone app (for Amazon) click on the menu and customer service comes up. There is an option for them to call you back. The call back in less than a minute. I had to call twice last week. The first time the lady was very friendly and super easy to understand, i think she was in Seattle. Second time, not as easy to understand (maybe I had a bad connection). But both times talked to someone really quick.
