The Sausage Fest movie thread reminded me of how much I dislike Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill. Neither of them appeals to me in any way as an actor and I can't think of a movie with either of them in that I enjoyed. I also really don't care about Beyoncé. I know she is talented and I don't dislike her, but her music isn't my taste and I don't totally get the hype over "Queen Bey".
Feel free to share yours.

I am not one to follow any celebs really. It just isn't my thing. But I will admit to reading People magazine when I go see my psychiatrist because I do love seeing the "stars" all glammed up for certain events. I love seeing how they dress.

I don't honestly care about any actor or singer or celeb. I don't understand celeb adoration in the least. I should probably stay out of this though because I won't know half of the people everyone seems to know

I don't know a single person who listens to Beyoncé and the only time I ever see anything about her is when she performs on an awards show and "wows the crowd"

Beyoncé. While I agree that she is talented, and has a great thing going in the industry... I am not a fan of her music at all. I didn't like Destiny's Child either.
I feel the same about Prince. I just wasn't a fan of his music much...but he was a fantastic musician.

Julia Roberts. Can't stand her. I also don't get the Beyonce hype. Going back a few years, Madonna. I was a teen in the 80s. I should have loved her. Nope. Didn't then, don't now. Gosh, I could probably sit here and make a long list. But I'll leave it at this.

I love Beyonce's music, but I don't pay attention to her life. Her stuff is prime on my workout playlists. What's that old saying? "It's got a good beat and you can dance to it."
I don't like watching Tom Cruise in anything. That got even worse when he cast himself in the Jack Reacher movie. My husband's favorite movie of all time is Top Gun, so I'm stuck watching him sometimes.

There are many, but the first one that comes to mind is Jim Carrey.
I also don't think I have ever heard an entire Beyoncé song or a Rhianna one either.
It takes all kinds though, and I am sure some I enjoy many actors and musicians that others think why!

The only movie I liked with Jonah Hill in it was Money Ball but Brad Pitt was in it also But it was a drama and it was an underdog/sports movie which I love. I was never a Helen Hunt fan. I never got the hoopla and didn't like that movie "As Good as it Gets". These three are the only actors where where I'll say "Nope, not seeing that" because one of them are in it. I'm also not a fan of Oliver Stone as a director even though he's made some huge films. I don't pay super close attention to it so I see his movies by mistake sometimes. It could be about the most interesting topic on the planet to me and I'll sit there not enjoying the movie then the credits will roll and I see his name and it's like "Ahhh...that's why". Ha!

Add me to the list of people who just don't care for Beyonce, Kanye, Taylor, the K-whores, and other celebrities that seem to spend more time in the "news" for their behavior, dress, or stupid stunts more than their actual talent.
Actor/actress - Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, Tom Cruise, Charlie Day, and a few others that I can't think of their names just do not appeal to me. Tom Cruise was good and then somewhere in the 90's, he got weird and his movies went downhill. While I know he had a few blockbusters, I just didn't like them. Another one is that kid from the transformer movies. I can think of his face and know his name is not a common one, but I just can't spit it out. He got weird too.
Sometimes all it takes is one bad character that I cannot separate from the actor. Other times, it's just too much bad press. Charlie Sheen is one.
I prefer celebrities that can keep their private lives private and don't feel the need to whore themselves out to the public. That kind of stuff tends to come back and rarely in a good way.

First thing than came to mind is that I avoid anything that has: Christopher Walken, Donald Sutherland or Nicolas Cage. I'm not sure why, but they're on my ICK radar.

I can't deal with Woody Allen movies. I know people think he's a creative genius, but he grates on my last nerve. And he's a major pervert, so I have another reason not to watch.

There are very few actors/actresses/singers that I actually do pay any attention to.
I mean I may love a show/film or a song, but that doesn't translate automatically to me having any real interest in the person in (or behind the scenes at) the show or writing/singing/playing the song.

Kardashians. I really don't know anything about them, haven't seen their show and don't understand why they are even famous. Okay, I do know that one of them is (was?) married to the woman FKA Bruce Jenner and one is married to Kanye West. I don't care.

I probably know more Broadway actors then Hollywood and I appreciate them for what they do not who they are. I do love watching the red carpet, not because of the celebrities but because of the clothes.

I would have to say Beyoncé. Visually I can understand why people love her (hair, makeup, costumes, dancing etc) but I can not understand a word she says singing or what it means. I could not sit thru a concert of hers.
Britney is another one. I just don't get the hype and why she got so popular. Her dancing is dull, she looks like she is doing only 1/2 the moves.

Anything Kardasian or used to be Kardasian or Jenner. Just don't care and couldn't tell you much about them unless I read it here.
Celebs are just people who might have talent. Operative here is might.

I don't follow actors or actresses very much.

It not so much a dislike, but a fatigue with actors who become famous and then take over every single movie they are in: Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler, Jason Statham, Will Smith. Some are so famous they assume we will love their offspring as well.

Beyoncé and Kanye for sure. Another person I don't like, and I know this is not going to go over well is Brad Pitt?? I mean, I don't know one movie he has starred in that I have really loved.?? They have all sort of been creepy or violent lately.

I don't really follow anyone, but I do appreciate people with actual talent whether it's acting, entertainment, whatever. The ones who leave me all are the no-talent hacks that seem to be famous for no good reason whatsoever, and yet those are typically the people who end up all over the news and in the headlines repeatedly. It seems like the people with the most talent and who are doing the most good for humanity in their personal lives make far fewer headlines, and typically not for the wrong reasons.

I'm not fond of any of the stupid funny type comedian actors.
Steve Martin Bill Murray Jim carrey
But then again, I don't care for that type movie either. My DH loves them though so I'm forced to sit through rolling my eyes. I do love regular comedies though, just not stupid funny.
