As the imprint manager at Crimson Romances, I'm now in charge of our reader Clubhouse. Every Monday we post one or two books for the week at our closed Facebook page for readers to download. We just ask that you put up a review on Amazon for each book you download. These reviews are becoming crucial for advertising opportunities, even for publishers. Sometimes we ask for cover input or feedback on specific genres or tropes you like. We are not admitting authors from any publisher, so you have complete freedom to share your opinions on the romance genre in general. (Although if it's a good comment, sometimes I send it without your name to the author when she needs a pick me up.) If you are interested, go to Crimson Clubhouse and ask to join! We do have a cap on our membership numbers, so if I turn you down, it's because we hit that ceiling. I'll start a waiting list at that point. Happy reading! |

We have multiple categories: contemporary, historical, suspense, paranormal (ranging from science fiction to fairies/angels to shapeshifters), and a new LGBTQ category. We have a mix of comedy and serious drama in all of them. Some are behind closed doors and others are sensual (meaning you know where the body parts are doing during intimate moments)
Crimson publishes two books a week, but we count our bundles in those releases, too, so it's not always a new stand-alone. In weeks where we publish two bundles, I reach back into the vault and pull out books for the Clubhouse that need some reviews.
And if you missed a book and want me to email it to you specifically, just ask at the site. Or if you want to get a better idea of whether it's a book you might like, ask me privately. I've spent 6 weeks working through edits on half of them, I've worked with the cover development on all of them, and I wrote most of the blurbs, so chances are good I can answer your question!

this sounds kind of cool! I used to read bodice-ripper type romances, but don't really any more. I still appreciate a romance novel if it has a pretty good story line to back up the 'romanc'e if you know what I mean...

Don't worry, it doesn't require much. A sentence or two works. It's mostly the stars that count, and then you say what you did or didn't like about the book. By the way, folks are perfectly welcome to leave 3 star or less reviews. There's no rule that you have to sugarcoat anything. If you don't like a book, let it rip!
Amazon is full of bad reviews, and we're realists.

Romance books are my "guilty pleasures". I find them relaxing fun reads. Years & years ago, I used to belong to a monthly book 'club' that delivered something like 6 Harlequin Romances right to my door. I miss those days. Sigh.

I have also read quite a few of Wanda E. Brunstetter's novels. There are other authors I've read but I'm terrible at remembering their names. Some of them are Christian romances which I like just as much as the Amish romance. Sounds like a neat concept.
I only read romance. I average a book every 2 days or so lol. In the first yr I had my smart phone I had read over 130 books on my Kindle app.
My secret fantasy is to write a romance novel. I write great synopsises in my head lol.
