Lip gloss! My lame world problem...
I am embarrassed to even put down the number of lip glosses I have.
I have a big thing about not having dry lips so I like lip gloss over lipstick - yet, my collection has gone overboard! It's not that I don't use it - but I don't need as much as I have.
I had to go to a hearing on a work related matter a few weeks back and my co-worker glances in my tote bag I opened up and noticed every side pocket had lip gloss - she totally made fun of me. I had not comeback because it was true!
Anyone else have a senseless thing you hoard?

My dentist has the most wonderful lip balm on his reception desk. I take two tubes each visit, I'm sure I'll be stocked for the next 20 years. I also hoard shopping bags. Not the plastic ones, but the large paper ones you get at department stores.
My husband hoards rubberbands. He loves when I buy asparagus because he says they come wrapped in the best bands.
My mom hoards the plastic zipper totes that sheet sets and pillowcases come in.

My dentist has the most wonderful lip balm on his reception desk. Is it those little chap ice things? One of my kids thought those were so awesome because they were tiny that I would grab a few every visit. Finally I figured out who made it and now I just buy him a full size tube. Mine is those little plastic bread closer things. I started out wanting to save a few to use to close the plastic bag that frozen veggies, etc. come in, but now I keep putting them in my little container but I already have enough to last a few years.

I have a co-worker that hoards condiments from restaurants/fast food. She said she has enough to fill a boot box (not shoe box) of ketchup packets alone.

Oh my husband does the same thing for when we go camping, but we actually use them so there's not a huge stash around. I love when I find a place that has olive oil packets and always take an extra!

She stores fabric in them for different projects. So if she's making a quilt after cutting all of the pieces out she will place them all in a zipper bag to keep them free of dust and cat hair. Her cat loves to lay on whatever project she's working on.

She used to crochet around them to make trivets. Everybody got a trivet so I didnt think she could still have as many as she did. But after she passed away my sister found bags and bags of them that she had hoarded. I guess she was planning on crocheting trivets for half of the state of California!

I save soy sauce from our Chinese food deliveries. I use them when cooking as needed. The kids don't like that soy sauce because it's not salty enough, so they use the jar in the fridge leaving us with about 10 packets each delivery. I also save taco sauce from taco pizza.

Dental floss. I always have a couple of the six-packs that Costco sells on hand.

DH would probably say I hoard toilet paper and Kleenex tissues! I buy them on sale at Costco. Since I have room to store them, it's not a problem to me .

Unintentional Hoarder of paper shopping bags too. There's always a moment where I realize it's happened. Like this summer when I see a stack of Coldwater Creek bags in the basket. I certainly wasn't saving those, they just kept getting pushed to the back. How can I have bags from a store that closed 2-3 years ago?
My donations have looked lovely on their white and green bags this month.

I don't think that I am collector of anything silly-but apparently a visit from realtor will disabuse anyone of the notion that they are living mean and clean. I did hear a lot about editing (or as my dad said 'getting rid of shit) but she also said that she can always tell the artistic people-they are the ones who have the most 'creative' things happening around their houses.

Sex Toys.
Seriously though, i'm lip gloss girl too. I've got hundreds of tubes and get a shipment of 8-10 every single month. It's ridiculous, but they make me so happy and I do use them often.
Have you tried lipsense yet? It's amazing.

I keep the annoying Santa, pillows, and the tree skirts and stockings in them. **Santa is annoying because he is motion censored and every thing sets him off. He rarely makes it to Christmas day before I have had enough of him.

I will have to try it - thanks for the enabling StephDRebel!

It kind of burned the first time (that sounds terrible!) but you let it dry and then put the gloss on top and it stays FOREVER! I seriously had the same color on without any touchups from 9a-11p, teaching two classes, through all my meals AND a concert!

Lip Gloss/Lipstick is the least thing that I think I hoard, but I still have like 7 different types in my purse side pocket. You never know what you might want at the time or what matches your outfit.
I have a ton of nail polish because I keep my toes always polished.
I have a bookshelf unit that only has my To-Be-Read pile in it. You can never have enough books, IMO.
And I have lots of clothes because I get tired of wearing the same things over and over and over.

Mac eyeshadow. I went to Mac last week and got a colorstick (love it btw) and I told the girl working there that I wish I had the money I have in eyeshadow. Being they're about $15 a piece, give or take, I have about 35 of them! I don't buy eyeshadow anymore unless it's a color I use all the time and I ran out of it.

Fingernail polish. I likely have 150 bottles or so. And, no, all those reds are NOT the same color, they are SIMILAR.

Colored binder and paper clips. I have them all hooked together to make a crazy long chain work of art, and in a glass bowl.

I am a hoarder of paper. I toss about half of the mail and other paperwork I have but the rest is either piled on my table, or stashed in boxes for me to go through later. It's a sickness.

Little by little I depotted them and put them all in several Z pallettes that hold 35 each. So much better and you can see them all so quick. If you see the ones you like in the store, buy them in the pan only online, they are only $6!!

Hmm. Mine would be canvas tote bags. I used to get them at trade shows because so many companies gave them away with their logos printed on them and they were handy. I gave a bunch of them away when I was hosting scrapbook events but even after that I think I had at least two file storage boxes FULL of them when we moved, all neatly folded up to take up the least amount of space! I was getting ready to go on vacation a couple years ago and I went through the boxes looking for a particular bag that had pockets all around and I couldn't find it. A few days ago I was looking for something in a totally different closet and found it folded up inside a wheeled backpack that I hadn't used in at least ten years! Bonus day! DD hoards Chapstick, especially the flavored ones. She must get that from me because I probably have a half dozen in my purse even though I almost never use any of them. Every year our local paper gives away weird flavors at our state fair. Last year it was Mini Donut which was pretty good. The year before that was bratwurst--not so much. This year it's French fry! The jury is still out on that one since I don't have it yet.
