I am SO excited! 
A bunch of former co-workers and I are having a reunion. Many
of us have stayed in touch through Facebook and/or some of us still get together in person.
Many of them still work together; but more of us don't. I haven't worked with them
for 4 years, and I MISS them a lot! I cannot WAIT for this party! I used to bring
a lot of cakes into work---either for birthdays or no reason at all. They used to
rave about my cakes; so I'm making a HUGE one for this party.
Of course, there will be just a few people that I'll feel awkward around either because
we were never friends and/ or they're annoying...hee hee....Obviously, not
all people get along with eachother; but for the most part, I know this will be FUN! Out of all the places I've worked, this is honestly the BEST group
of people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Not just because of our
personalities blending so well, but (most of us) worked VERY hard, and we also
had GREAT teamwork, too!
Also, the BEST boss I've ever had will be there, and lots of us who loved her are
SO excited to see her again! We joke around / "chat" on Facebook a lot, but
SEEING her and my other peeps after FOUR YEARS is going to be SO fun!!!
This group and I have "TALKED" about having a reunion for.ev.er. and I got so tired
of TALKING about it, I finally set a date and planned it at a restaurant.
I created a private FB page & tagged everyone I still
keep in touch with, and they are also spreading the word to others. Almost everyone
I tagged say they're coming, plus the other people they've told.
I'm expecting 20-25....soooo we'll see. (part of me is afraid that maybe THREE people
will show---LOL----I guess because I planned it, I'm a little nervous)....?
I'm also very blessed that I have 2 VERY close, lifelong friends that I made at a different
job 16 years ago, and another 2 that I made at this more recent job.
How about you? Have you had awesome former coworkers that you've kept in
touch with? Have you ever had a reunion with them after several years? How about
current coworkers--do y'all socialize outside of work? A bunch of us did when I worked there. lunches, dinners, baby and wedding showers, and birthday parties at someone's house.

), I have never not liked the people I've worked with. I've also always lived in small towns so it's inevitable that we cross each other's paths and end up on committees, etc together. I did work for one company where pretty much everybody was in their 20-30s and going through the stages of life where most are getting married, having babies, buying first homes so we shared a lot of big moments together. I'm friends with several on Facebook but I'd love an actual reunion to spend an afternoon with them all. We would have a blast! I'd love to catch up and see where those babies are...my baby that I had during that time is a senior in high school!
