I'm looking to purchase a Sheet Music Background Stamp. I've found several cards using a sheet music background stamp that I really like, so I've been trying to find one.
I was wondering if anyone had a stamp they could recommend. I've found that the prices are really wide and varied. AliExpress has some really cheap stamps. But - even though it will be in the background, I'd like a nice crisp image. I'm wondering if an inexpensive stamp will give a very nice impression. Does any one have any experience with cheaper stamps, or do you 'get what you pay for'?
Also, I'm guessing if it's an unmounted stamp, I'll need a stamping block. The largest I have is 3-1/2 x 5-1/2. What are your experiences with over-sized stamping blocks? Are they truly flat and even enough to give a good impression?
I'm particularly looking for a stamp with no verse/words - just the music so it could be used for all occasions.
TIA

I have a red rubber cling mount stamp from MFT. It's 6x6. I have a block that size but usually just use my MISTI.

Thanks!
I don't own anything from MFT. So I'll check it out. 6x6 would be s good size, too.

For large background stamps I usually place the stamp on the table, ink it, then put the paper on top while it's still face up. Place a piece of scrap paper that is bigger on top of that and rub all over. I have had good luck getting a good impression that way, better than when I use my stamp press.

I have a Hero Arts one that fits an A2 sized card front. I usually just flip mine over face up and lay the cardstock on it, rather than using it on a block. I guess now I have a Stamoholic I can use that. Papertrey Ink also have a music background stamp that comes in strips and you can restamp to fill whatever sized area you like. This is the HA one I have (I see it's available on Amazon and I assume other places as well): And here's the link to the PTI one www.papertreyink.com/stamps/background-basics-sheet-music-stamp-set/
