Hello fellow scrapaholics! I've recently migrated to the 6x12 format for PL and I'm loving it. I haven't loved a format this much ever before. However, it looks like WRMK are drastically reducing their overall offer and have discontinued the 6x12 classic (faux) leather albums. I'm now hunting down the last ones in stock in different online scrapbook stores where I live. In order to think ahead properly and get a purchase-leftover-stock game plan going, I would like to know the maximum amount of filled page protectors you manage to squeeze into a 12x12/9x12/6x2 album. As I'm coming from 6x8 albums, it's harder to estimate accurately as the spines on my 6x8 albums seem narrower than on these 6x12 (classic 12x12 spine width). Please let me know if you're a heavy 3D embellisher/flat embellisher too. Many thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if my experience is helpful because I worked in 6x8 Handbooks a few years ago (before they f*ed up the ring configuration) but I could fit about 6 months of weekly pages plus occasional inserts in my albums. I think the spines on those albums are 2.5-3" which appears to be the same thickness as the WRMK Letter sized albums, and they held about 30-35ish pages. I'm a fairly flat scrapper.
I was just watching Kelly Purkey's PL process videos. She makes 6x12 look like such fun!

On average 40 page protectors fit well but I have gotten as many as 70 pages into a larger spined book. I would factor for 30-40 per book.

I don't have flat pages and I get 25-28 pages per album.

Thanks so much for the answers, ladies! If I try to keep things more on the flatter side of the embellishment spectrum, I could theoretically fit a whole year of weekly spreads into an album going by your replies which is just the great news that I needed! joblackford There are several 6x12 documenters out there but Kelly is the most well-known one. It truly is a super fun size to work with! I have been breezing through the spreads.

28-30 is my max for my 12 x 12 album, so 56-60 pages total.

I do my PL in a 12x12 album and keep the embellishment mostly flat and can easily fit a full year into one album with a double page spread per week plus a few extra pages for bigger weeks.

Can you link us up to some of the other 6x12 PL-er's out there? I'm thinking this is the perfect size for my 2017 PL.

Can you link us up to some of the other 6x12 PL-er's out there? I'm thinking this is the perfect size for my 2017 PL. Martu Alterada did 6x12 up until just a month or two ago and has plenty of page spreads featured on her blog as well as process videos for these on YouTube (in Spanish). Laura Hager's IG features plenty of her 6x12 spreads. Emma from AE's CT is also into 6x12 at the moment. Krista Wells as well. (pun unintended) I think there is just such a pleasantness to having a balanced 12x12 square in front of you when you look at a spread. It's very soothing to the eye yet instinctively taps into the dynamic part of your creative brain. So easy to get a flow going with colours.
