I am friends with someone on Facebook--more of an acquaintance. But someone I like a lot. She is very Christian and a good, wholesome mom. Her posts are mostly about her family, and lots of stuff she does with her Christian Moms group.
Today, she has "liked" several posts from a weird website--all of them sexually related. Threesomes, sexual positions, etc. She has also posted very normal stuff. The likes do not show up on her wall--just on my feed. (I checked my account and same thing. I can see my likes under activity, but not on my wall).
So--I'm 99% sure her account has been hacked. If so, she probably doesn't even know it.
But what if she really DID like those posts? Oh look--here's a picture of my kids at their cousin's birthday party. And here's an article on threesomes I really liked.
She has LOTS of friends. Should I just let one of them tell her? That was my inclination after the first and second one. But now it's three. I'm not offended. I just know (if I'm correct) she would be embarrassed.
So should I tell her? Or mind my own business?

I would post "You have lots of vary varied interests". But if she was truly hacked, one of her closer friends or a family member will let her know.

I would privately message her and say "I think your account is hacked, in my newsfeed it tells me you are liking all these sexual posts, just wanted to let you know as all your other friends will be seeing that as well"

Please let her know what's going on! She'll probably be mortified when she finds out. Yes, she's nearly certainly been hacked. Poor thing.. how embarrassing.

Private msg her and let her know what you're seeing. Her acct might be hacked.

Send her a private message and tell her you think she's been hacked. Give an example of what you saw. Advise her to change her password. Odds are she was probably hacked and will be grateful for the info. If she wasn't hacked and actually did like and post Jose things, well, maybe she'll learn to be more secretive in the future.

If she has been hacked, would the hackers have access to her messages?
It might be better to email or call than to send a message through Facebook.

It's a well known thing on FB (or at least to me it seems well known) where these random posts containing generally pornographic images/video show up and are attributed to posters who have nothing to do with posting them. They show up on random friend's wall as you shared them, liked them, or posted them directly. But the person can't even actually see it themselves.

Tell her. I was always seeing that one of my friends 'liked' a page about the vaginal mesh lawsuits. She hadn't been hacked, and didn't know why it was coming up. It was just weird.
