I have collected scrapbooking supplies for longer than I have been a Pea which is about 12 years. I have done tons and tons of layouts which is 100% fact but I haven't actually put photos on a page in about 5 years. I have still collected supplies.
I scrapped a 2 page layout tonight. I really did. It is not good, but that doesn't matter as I did the layout and it's all original work! OMG I actually scrapped! BFF can't believe it either. I am sure she is laughing at how bad I am at it, but I did scrap it!

While I admit half the fun of scrapping in the collecting (and hoarding) of supplies, I do love the using stuff up part too. Congratulations on getting back into the swing of things.

I took a break from scrapbooking, but not from collecting. I bought stuff and haven't scrapped since 2010, I justified all my hoarding by telling myself it would help me get into the swig of things, it hasn't. I just don't know how to get back into it, I think I lost my SB groove.

It was hard to do this layout that's for sure. My ink had turned from brown to greenso I had to throw it out. It was my favourite distress ink but it was old. It had gone off.
I would have liked to have used more embellishments but it turned out fine the way it is.

Congrats, Delta Dawn ! There is no such thing as a bad scrapbook page. Don't judge it: celebrate it! I have tried to cut back on hoarding the artsy supplies if I am not using them. Nozzles clog. Ink pads dry. Glues and paints harden. Media become gooey. But paper and embellishments are still there waiting when you come back. And if scrapbooking is forever, it doesn't matter if you are using 12 year old supplies on today's LO. Don't know if Ranger fixed that brown distress ink, because it was an issue at one time. I had a couple of bottles of the stain go green on me when they were new.

There is no such thing as a bad scrapbook page. Don't judge it: celebrate it! Grammadee you have obviously never seen my early work. Of course most of it has been rescrapped into an acceptable form. I have also seen original heritage photos cropped into bizarre shapes and that is bad. Very bad.
My true confession SBR is that the last 2 or 3 conventions I've been to plus my last 2-3 or more visits to an LSS I have not put anything away, so I have to think about what bag it might possibly be in when I am looking for something.

Yay elannah! Now keep on going! My confession: DS2 has been living in the bedroom portion of my scrap room while searching for work. He finally secured a short term job in another state! Now I get to scrap whenever the mood hits since he's vacated the room for the time being. Woohoo! Freedom to scrap! I'm such a bad mom. (Really, I'm torn. He left yesterday and I miss him already!)

Delta Dawn, YAY! I agree, no bad scrapbook pages. It's all about recording the memory. --I've been using my SU inks from 2002-03 and found this year that the craft burgundy went bad. So even if you were using your stuff, it can get old and yuck. Hope you can keep on creating!

Go you, Delta Dawn! My confession is that in spite of having a basement full of stuff already (and countless boxes of crap lined up to purge), I'm still secretly thinking about buying MORE stuff this weekend when I go to a scrapping fundraiser crop with my friend! The Doodlebug Halloween paper that just came out that looks like multicolored paint splats would be PERFECT for the costume I'm working on for DD for Halloween this year and I MUST have some. It truly is a disease.

I love organization items. So, my guilty pleasure is buying things like that. I'm known for buying "just the right container" for something, and then 2 weeks later finding something even better - and then buying it. It's not good - but so so fun!

The layout is good and more important done. My confession I have not met a pp that I can say no too and more keeps finding its way into my house. This is a problem as my apartment is tiny.

There was so much junk in with all those supplies. I had that big, big drawer of ribbon that all had to go. I mean there was a ton of it. It is all gone. I don't know what happened to all the fibers. They must be in the storage locker or something. I don't know, but there was plenty of them, too. I really want to scrap another layout and don't know when I will get to do it with the scrap room in the shape it is in. I mean it's so bad down there. Maybe I should just stay up all night long and work on it.
I went from 24 full Cropper Hopper vertical paper holders to about 3 and there is room now for the stuff I want to keep. That to me is progress.

Still working at getting stuff put away. I have to go do some more now. I have good music to listen to and i think I can get 2.5 more hours of work on it done before I have to go to work. It's 6:30 and if I work until 9 and then get ready to go I should be fine.

I have a guilty secret to confess...I own a perfectly lovely ATG, but my preferred adhesive is actually the cheapo HL store brand photo-safe glue sticks.

I finally put away rubber stamp and die purchases that have been sitting on the shelf for 18 months It felt great! I also went through all my unmounted stamps and revisited the images to know what I have. Then this afternoon I made a card for my JFF DT. Used some of my new to me supplies!

Oh my, I discovered another form of the craft. Polymer Clay - no it does not go with photos, but the cute things you can make are endless. that is my confession. So now it is rubber stamping, art journals, Bible Journaling, Happy Planner and lets not get into the yarn and fabric stuff. But, as long as I have closet room, I will keep it all!

Yay for you! My confession, sometimes I look at my past orders at ACOT to figure out if I actually have a certain whatever before I start the hunt in my stash for it!

YAY! That's awesome! Good for you! My confession is that even though I have two very large craft tables in my scrapbook room, I'm scrapbooking right now in a space about 2 feet by 2 feet because the rest of the space is covered with clutter....
