I've lost my ATG. I feel just this side of hysterical. I have spent the past hour searching for it and it is nowhere to be found. I feel like screaming. It is an extension of my body and it is gone. I wish I had put a GPS on it! I think one of my college daughters took it!! Of cours that's mean to blame them, but where could it be?
AARGH. This is the worst!!

Oh come on! The thing is the size of a Buick, how could you lose it?
Just kidding, of course. I hope it turns up soon.

Maybe someone borrowed it from the house and didn't return it. Do you have an attic or crawl space?

I have a knockoff that I bought from ebay years ago, but I would be so sad to lose mine. I LOVE mine! Besides scrappy projects, I use it for my kids'school projects. It is so darn handy.

And I thought its size was to ensure that didn't happen. Of course, mine does still manage to hide underneath 12 x 12 pieces of paper. <wink>
Other than that, I'd say someone did drive it to college because it's too big and pink/red to hide in plain sight!
Good luck. (I bought a second one that's still in the box in my closet for just such emergencies.)

No one (or so they say) drove it off to college! I remember where I used it last - to tape something on my son's wall 2 weeks ago, but then what happened?! I know it's too big to lose! It's too RED to lose! I swear I opened all drawers, but I will have to try again. I feel quite desperate to tape right now!

Check in the laundry room! Whenever my kids use something that they dont know where to put it back at they stick it in the laundry room.

Tell us the truth-were you cheating on your atg with a glue stick? Now is the time to come clean and maybe it'll give you another chance.
Seriously, though, surely it'll turn up. Maybe you used it for something other than scrapping and left it in another room.

I had tweezers walk off of my desk (it's a dual space, computer one side where I am much of the day and scrap space on the other) a couple of months ago when I was gone no more than 10 minutes. My son happened to move something across the room on my other desk (for tools...but I haven't been scrapping much so I'm not over there) and found them. I was so happy...someone must have knocked them off (most likely the dog thinking she could find food and they just flung over there)...3 days later, I lost the other pair...it's been a week and I still haven't seen them. I usually keep one by the bed and one by the computer as I'm always needing them.
I hope you find them!! It always sucks when you remember where you think you last saw something and tear that room apart only to stumble upon the item pop up when you've given up and are looking for something else. I've had that happen a number of times recently. Hopefully yours turns up sooner rather than later. Pre-fall cleaning, maybe?!

I have to keep my ATG hidden from my cats, so I usually know exactly where I've stashed it.
Does anyone else's cat love to chew the tape on their ATG?
Drives me NUTS that I have to re-wind it all the time if I leave it on my desk.

Check in the laundry room! Whenever my kids use something that they dont know where to put it back at they stick it in the laundry room. Whenever my kids don't know where to put something, they put it on my craft desk. That way I'm bound to see it. LOL. @really Red, hope your ATG finds its way home. I lose mine on my desk all the time. The paper piles up and you can't tell it's under there. ha.

Hope you find it soon, Really Red Just a thought, but my dh has been known to walk away with a tool he finds useful, and he NEVER puts anything back. Have you checked the garage? The furnace room? My Glider Pro dispensers (and yes, I have TWO of them) get lost from time to time, usually under a pile of paper right on my desk. When I am looking for a specific thing, I can never find it, especially if I REALLY NEED it. Then when I am looking for something else, I trip over the first item.

Oh, that stinks! I hope it comes home sooner than the three YEARS it took me to find the stylus for my Wacom tablet! I swear I looked in the box I eventually found it in multiple times, but for some reason I just didn't see it. I'm just happy it finally came back home to my desk!

Make sure you check the trash cans! It could have fallen into one, especially if the can is at the end of your table.

That is terrible. Have you called your child and told them if they are holding your ATG gun hostage in a moving box somewhere you will not pay their college tuition? Seriously, I do hope you get it back or find it in your DS room. Does anyone else's cat love to chew the tape on their ATG? No, but they set on it. When I go to use it there is a long line of cat hair on the tape. I know the culprit since I have one black & white cat and an orange tabby. I seem to have a lot of black fur on that tape. I am redoing my room right now because my cats seem to think that is their playroom. I have to hide things now. I told them they are little devils but they smile at me. They know they are and proud of it. I never had cats act like these two.

I see I'm not the only one with two ATG's! I got a chance to get a second at a good price and got it because DH occasionally uses it and never puts it back.

You are all TOO funny!!! I looked again last night and I just feel so frustrated. I wish I could blame it on someone, but since my girls are out, it's just my 15yo and me at home and I'm pretty sure he didn't do anything to it. But I did not check in my laundry room and that's actually a really good place to look. It's right next to my son's room where I last remember using it.
I do feel like screaming, because I love that ATG so much!! I may soon be the person with two ATGs as well, because you know as soon as I order one, I'll find the old one!
p.s. I am SO not a cheater! Do not even have a glue stick in the house!

Do not even have a glue stick in the house! I'm not TOO much of a cheater! I use ATG and Aleenes Acid Free Tacky Glue with a ScraPerfect cap. I have too many paper piecing type dies with teeny tiny pieces that ATG is just too big for. Not to mention that I do a lot of pop up cards and some of those need very strong glue and Aleenes works better for that. I really like having two because it cuts out the frustration of always looking for it! I can lose something when it is right under my nose!
