I too am the mother of a son (now 37yo) with a serious heart condition so I know just how you're feeling. My heart is full of positive thoughts for Daniel (BTW, that's my sons middle name) and for you.
Mine also tried to keep things from me so I wouldn't worry, but I told him that's pointless. I worry anyway and that it's better to know the truth than imagine all sorts of things. I'd tell Daniel that and also ask his girlfriend to keep you quietly in the loop.

Oh I know how hard it is to be away from your loved ones when they have health issues. Prayers being said for Daniel and his Cardiology team, and for you to have peace that he is in good hands. Kerp us posted, and we'll keep praying.

I understand, scaredmomma. I am also a few hours from Billings so was hoping maybe we were in the same area and I could help out somehow. But I am in a different area code. However, I am very familiar with Billings Clinic and it's a wonderful hospital with many great physicians. That's where I would go (and I have in the past) for specialized care. It's THE regional hospital and also has tragic and research components so rest assured he will get good care  . Hugs again! |
