Thanks for the alert. I never install new software when it's first released - way too risky. I usually give it a month or two to let them fix the bugs.

I just updated my iPhone to iOS 9.3.5 from 8 (or whatever came with my iPhone 6). I think I'll wait awhile on updating to 10.

CNET suggests waiting to, and maybe not, update the iPhone 5 as well. Apple seems to be making my iPad 2 and iPhone 5 obsolete in one full swoop!

I updated my iPhone 6 OTA this morning with no problems. I didn't see the warning until it was already doing its thing, so I'm glad it went off without a hitch.

I updated both my personal iphone6 and my work iphone5 with no issues. The update was slow though - taking about 35 minutes on both phones.

I updated mine earlier today and had no troubles at all. I did it "over air" or whatever it's called when it isn't plugged into the computer and goes through iTunes. The update took maybe 10-15 minutes at most. I've just started playing around and the iMessage changes are pretty cool! I also like the search feature for the photos. I've already gone in and changed the Home Button back to "rest finger to open" (settings-general-accessibility), rather than the new default where you have to push the Home Button to register the thumb/fingerprint. I also reordered the layout of the "swipe left on homescreen" widgets. So far, so good!

My phone is too old to update and even if it wasn't, it doesn't have enough memory left to do it. It's already almost a brick!

DH did it earlier today, and it totally bricked his 6s plus! He had to take it to the Apple Store to get it up and running so he could use it for work. I guess if he'd waited a few hours to update, there would have been plenty of info online to help him fix it instead of having to make a drive!

So many cool updates. Love that you can respond to texts from lock screen. Just a ton of really useful and fun new updates.
Go for it!!! I love it!!!!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have been on the beta all along on my iPad and on my iPhone for two weeks. I updated both of them to the final release last night and had zero issues (iPad Pro and iPhone 6s Plus).

Apple had posted that the problem was fixed but some people are still saying that they are having trouble. I think that I will wait until at least tomorrow. I can't wait to check out all of the new stuff.

I just went through iTunes and updated my iPad Pro. No problems. Yay! Now I have my iPad Air 2 (if it works with the update) and my iPhone. Now to check out the new operating system.

I never got a notification for an update? should I have? I have a iphone5 I don't get notices. I go into Settings > General > Software Update and it will tell you then if one is available.
