Thanks for sharing! Those who'll snatch up the December Memories kit are in for a treat! Really lovely. Just too much stuff for my use as I don't do DD but this could be a very nice (and cheap, especially if you're not an international customer) alternative for someone who hasn't fallen in love with any of the AE DD kits this year and is still looking...

Shhhhh, don't spill my secrets.
No, in all seriousness, I found out about this yesterday. I dreamed on Saturday night that I got into a fight with the owner in her group (which would never happen, btw) and woke up thinking how crazy it was...and then remembered that I hadn't looked at this month's sneaky peek yet. I always check the sale section when I am on the site and lucked into it. After shopping at Joann.com Saturday night and then buying the albums and page protectors from Scrapbooksteals.com. To say I slaughtered my monthly budget after having done SO GOOD with my spending lately is an understatement. I bought 10 items from the sale and because it was mid month, I had to pay shipping on top of it, but it was under $10 for shipping...my guess is because I'm in the state next door and it's a zone rate.

Having most of the components to other kits is why I didn't buy 20 and was "reasonable" with only 10. When you look at it that way, I was well behaved, right? Maybe that question should not be answered and left as rhetorical, eh?

I have a friend I share extras with and for the price, it's worth buying a whole kit even if I don't like some pieces. I'm definitely not making it rain...certainly not with those high denomination bills. Maybe singles...but only because change hurts when you throw it and it hits someone.

I hit that sale this morning and was happy to get a few things I missed the first time around. My shipping was higher than I expected, but if it is zone it makes sense.

I bit the bullet and ordered the December memories kit because it looks even prettier than 2014. I love the eclectic feel of their Christmas stuff. Now all I need to do is pick a theme for my album this year!
I couldn't resist at 60% off!!

I've never bought one of Ali's kits, but gossamer blue is more my style anyways. Plus paislee press contributed the last two years and I love lizs stuff. Don't be strong, be weak like me!

I've never ordered from them before. Is the stamp grab bag a good deal? Since you've never ordered previously...yes. I got one once and it was almost all 3x4 stamp sets from the PL kit and I have every kit, so it was a waste for me...there were a few 2x2 main kits stamps that I didn't have but not worth the cost of the entire bag. Oops.

Also the shipping of the December kit made my total $57, still pretty decent! Holy sweet baby Jesus. I tried to quote that it was a great price and my phone kept going apeshit and quoting the WRONG THING. Great price. I got the kit at half off and had it shipped with my main kit (during another $10 kit sale...I'm addicted) and used that for the majority of my DD, mixed in some PP pieces and the Ashley G kit, too. Still not done, but the bones are there. I really like the planner aspect...I don't fill them in or use them but the added texture and variety from just page protectors was awesome. Especially because I did one photo page without a page protector when I was trying to stay only a week behind. To get caught up, I didn't do that in May, so it was the only page like that and would have stood out otherwise. Now it doesn't because of the weekly pages. I just wish she'd do more traditional colors. The browny-yellow color that is supposed to mimic gold bugs me and I didn't really understand the hot pink, either. The discounted price made it worth while and I didn't feel guilty about tossing the elements I didn't like (I didn't really intend to toss them, but they got set within the reach of my children and were stolen and subsequently mangled).

My order is due here tomorrow...I cannot wait!! My goal today is to try and finish the three pages (of six) for the week in PL I'm currently working on and then do some clean up so I have room to spread out and organize everything when it arrives. I've reached the point of too many piles from recent purchases and can't make room for anything else. If my room stays as it currently is, while I'll be excited by my order, I'll quickly end up in a panic attack because of the volume of stuff. I get claustrophobic if I have more things than I can put away (or pile up easily) and who needs that when a simple clean up will prevent it from happening before it gets here?
I've decided that my core kits need addressing. They occupy too many cubes in my Kallax that could be used for more necessary things (like albums, stamps, etc). The problem is finding them a new home...that's going to be a tough one.

Well...how about if you think about shipping being about $8? The kit was STILL $49.95 when the announcement (and this post) went up. I'm guessing a lot of people didn't like shipping and it wasn't selling (I bundled so I didn't have to pay shipping, but she initially wouldn't let you bundle that, either...I had already missed bundling when she told me that I could and she kindly invoiced me for it before she shipped my huge order that month) so she dropped the price to $39.95. My guess is that the shipping cost is a BIG part of why she's not doing an album with the kit this year.

The problem is finding them a new home...that's going to be a tough one. Mine will be here Friday! Whoop whoop! I placed an order with Take 10/Studio 29 after they announced the closure of their kit club. It shipped (also priority) the same day and will therefore arrive tomorrow as well. It took so long to ship (I thought for sure that ordering the same day wouldn't push my order back to the full 7 day shipping window...it might have actually taken longer, I honestly forgot about it once or twice) that I'm not even excited about it anymore. I'm kind of over it and partially regret ordering because the FOMO has passed and I know the things I got from GB are going to be much more exciting. Maybe I wouldn't feel this way if it were arriving on a different day...especially BEFORE my GB stuff. ETA: yep, it took 11 days. Her site could have said business days, who knows...but it was a long time for a small order, especially since she charged higher shipping rates to send everything priority to avoid having to weigh every package. I'm sure I'll enjoy the product when it gets here, just bad timing, I guess.

I just subbed. When's the bundling period? What is allowed during bundling? You'll get an email the day before add-ons go live along with a free ship code that works that month. You can use it on anything in the shop unless the email says that it explicitly excludes that item (that's why I knew I couldn't get free shipping on the DD kit, even though subsequent emails didn't say that, I assumed that was still the case) which will sometimes happen with pricey to ship items. Bundling runs from the time add-ons are available through the 3rd of the month. Kits ship around the 5th or 6th each month.

Cleaning up will be delayed until after kiddo drop off. Watching my recorded shows from last night won out. Bull looks cool but I just don't think I will ever adjust to no Dinozzo on NCIS. Michael Weatherly is why I began watching (after recognizing him from Dark Angel during reruns somewhere around season five). At least it is back 2 back right now...so much new casting on some staples. Tough pill. Back to enabling for stash...don't mind me.

Just noticed that the international shipping cost for the 2015 kit has been reduced. Couldn't let this slip away from me so I hit that buy button! Kit and shipping came to just under 70 euros. I think it's worth it considering how full the kit is. Really excited about documenting Christmas now!
