I'm interested in the Master class. Curious if anyone else will be signing up for her class? I love her style! I also like that Kelsey does not fit the "scrapbooker mold" and is sometimes uncomfortably raw but always genuine. No "dance like no one is watching" or "best day ever" stuff from her. Reading the history about why she does this was a brave disclosure of the personal struggles on her journey. I am personally not brave enough to admit out loud my ugly truths www.hellolifexo.com

I'm definitely a fan of her work. Even though she has kids, I never feel like she's a mom-scrapper. As in, her work features plenty of other things and isn't saccharine, so it appeals to people without children.
I don't know if I'd be willing to commit to a class for a whole year though! I'll probably download the free pdf and see how I like her teaching style.

I love and completely relate to Kelsey's storytelling and documenting voice. This warning says it all: "THIS COURSE CONTAINS NSFW LANGUAGE AND SARCASM. IF CUSS WORDS OR SARCASM BOTHER YOU, THIS CLASS ISN'T FOR YOU." No fuzzy 100% feel-good pinkified happy heart sticker stories, just the right balance between "this sucks" and "f***k yeah!". This is tempting. And I curse you QueSeraSera for bringing it up! Ugh. I'm salivating over the masterclass but not feeling pushed over the edge enough. No video presentation? Why tease and leave us me hanging? I guess I'm just going to queue up in limbo for now and see if there is a more FOMO-inducing presentation coming up next to help me make up my mind.

I am watching what sneaks she puts out as well. I kinda thought the price was high for the year long class, but I did see that she has payment plans. Which I can see as good, but I also think WTF? A class thats so expensive I have to make payments?

I kinda thought the price was high for the year long class, but I did see that she has payment plans. Which I can see as good, but I also think WTF? A class thats so expensive I have to make payments? My understanding is that she sees and has established the price as just a little over $10 a month as it's a year-long course. But it would have been better advertised that way. I am myself a little surprised at having to sign up and pay for a full year without a clearer idea of where this class is going with concrete examples and not knowing whether I will personally benefit that much from it (considering this is already sort of my PL approach). Just going to wait this one out and see what else she reveals about it...

Looks interesting, but I agree a bit pricey. But, I'm still watching for more sneaks.

I'm intriqued. But I also know myself and can see myself only getting into it for the first month (can you say OLW?) and then forgetting all about it in a crazy month and then being ticked and not wanting to go back because I missed some vital steps....ya know what I mean? But I like her down to earth style. Hmmm. gonna have to think about it. Maybe if she threw in a free stamp...

Call me crazy, but is the community access worth $80? The $40 option looks pretty good provided it includes all the weekly templates. Love her PL and writing style but don't know if I'd actually access the online stuff monthly to make it truly worth the money. But, $10/month is def a deal if you don't forget about year-long classes like I do. Something to think about. If people could link up previews and sneaks here it would be so appreciated.

I'm also interested but think the price tag is a little high.

I am a huge fan of Kelsey's style & personality, but I won't be signing up for this class. I've been doing project life since 2013 and scrapbooking for at least a decade so I'm not new to the process so I think a lot of it would be repeats. I would sign up for a cheaper, more intensive class from her on specific processes or techniques. In this post she mentions that this class is only for scrapbooking newbies and she will have something for more experienced scrapbookers in the future. So I'm curious to see what else she releases.
As far as this class goes, I think the lack of videos makes it seem really pricey to me--I get that it's a full year, but so is one little word and that's like $30. Plus that includes monthly videos, the videos are definitely what keep me buying Ali's classes. I'm sure Kelsey included a ton of content, but it is probably more than I can digest anyways... I don't have hours of time to devote to scrapbooking classes every week (I bought Hello Story from Ali like 6 months ago and still haven't completed the first lesson). Also, it seems odd to not let people sign up after it starts, because I would definitely want to hear what others say before committing to that much time/money without having taken a class from her before.

Thanks for bringing up the clarification about who the class is intended for. I tend to skim over her happy lists so this completely escaped my attention! I definitely think it's a pass for me then. I've been doing my form of PL for a while now and have a good grip on the direction I'm going with it. I don't need to learn how to get into it and be coached on how to be honest with what I put in my spreads. A bit disappointed this very important bit of info is not clearly included in the sales pitch page we were given. Also, it seems odd to not let people sign up after it starts, because I would definitely want to hear what others say before committing to that much time/money without having taken a class from her before. I thought I must have misread/not fully understood what she meant about registration closing end November although the monthly challenges and prompts don't start until January. And as you put it: it seems like a much better idea to keep registration open and let word of mouth marketing work its magic. I'm a little puzzled.

A bit disappointed this very important bit of info is not clearly included in the sales pitch page we were given. I was also surprised there was no mention of it in the sales pitch either, I had to go back and find the previous post where I read that because originally I thought maybe I was mistaken. Maybe her more advanced classes won't be until after 2017 so she didn't want to prevent potential customers from purchasing because they were going to wait for that one thinking it would be soon?

I doubt Kelsey would've done it on purpose...I bet it was just an oversight. I would prefer a more advanced class. I do like hearing about people's individual processes to get ideas, but I would prefer advanced material that covers a more unique perspective. I wouldn't mind general topics (such as "how to use color") if the techniques presented were more advanced.

Thanks for posting this. I missed that detail and have a similar crafting history to yours. I do wish the templates were available because I'm lazy and would love a great 9x12 one. I hope the response to this class doesn't influence a more advanced one. I'm surprised the first class would be aimed at newbies when scrapbooking is a "dying industry" and most PL-dedicated blog readers/IG followers are experienced scrapbookers. SaveSave

I am reviving this thread because I am curious if anyone signed up for her class and can report back how it is?
Also, she has been MIA in about a month--her blog has been taken down--is the class still going forward? Did she refund people's money? So curious... but also I miss her posts & hope everything is okay!
