My sweet DH purchased a Brother ScanNCut 2 for me a few months ago. I finally got it out of the box and....there it sits. I think I am afraid of it. LOL
So - do any of you have the ScanNCut? Do you love it? Is it hard to learn to use? I'm greatly intimidated by it. Ha
How can I learn to use and love it? Can anyone recommend websites or Youtubers? The Brother website has very little to offer. I really don't know where to start. sigh.
Any help will be so appreciated!
TIA

Creative Scrapbooker Magazine has a couple of videos I watched even though I don't have the Scan N Cut. I want one, but can't see abandoning my Cricut. linklink

I have one. I don't have room to use it in my scrap room so I rarely use it because I have to drag it to the dining room table to use.

Have it along with the Cameo... use them for different things which I know both could do but I use the SNC for cutting out my stamped images and the Cameo for cutting titles/etc.

I just saw a very brief demo at an event this weekend. My observation was that it was easier to watch someone else go through all the steps than to actually understand what and why they did each step. I think I understand but would not want to be tested on it. The machine itself seems like it has many options that are cool, which I imagine is what complicates it. all that being said, I would still consider getting one. Totally seems like a cool machine. And sounds like there could be a great opportunity for someone to develop some videos and tutorials!!

I have one and absolute love it, and I have so much more I can do with it that I haven't explored yet. There is a scan n cut group on Facebook called scanncut, canvas, and scal, that is a wealth of information.if you don't do facebook/ don't want to join the group you can fund her YouTube videos by looking up Scanncut jam sessions.
Really don't be afraid of it, just start to play, and enjoy it!

It looks like it does some really cool things. Julie Fei-fen Balzer uses it on her tv show, Scrapbook Soup. have fun with it!
