Nope. But I am another one who has had very strong deja-vu moments. I read an explanation of deja-vu that explained it quite satisfactorily. I do not believe in reincarnation at all. Could you explain it? Briefly?

I'm ambivalent and indifferent to the idea of reincarnation.
I believe it's possible, I just don't particularly care if it's true or not.

Could you explain it? Briefly? Oh dear. Now I'm under pressure!! I probably won't be able to explain it very well, but from what I remember, this article said that when you experience deja-vu, your brain processes whatever you just did as something you are remembering as having experienced before, instead of recognising it as a new experience. The brain thinks it is remembering it from a long time ago instead of a split second ago. I've botched that explanation, but that's how I remember it, and it made perfect sense to me at the time. I am the biggest skeptic about everything, that's probably why I believe the explanation of what I read rather than believing precognition or reincarnation.

You did a great job, I understand perfectly:) I leaves me wondering though.....I went on a school trip when I was about 10 years old to the island of Madeira. I had never been there before. As we got off the coach I was able to tell the teacher what shops and sights were around the corner, in the next street etc. I have never been able to explain it to myself.

Not exactly, but I have had some wickedly strong deja vu moments. This sums it up. I'm an open minded skeptic when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Perhaps you had seen vacation pictures someone else had taken, or pictures in a guidebook, or perhaps someone had mentioned these shops to you. It's also possible it didn't happen exactly the way you remember it. False memories happen to everybody.

I don't believe so much in reincarnation, my brother does. He says he remembers a scene where he was choosing moments in his life.
But I'm another here with strong déjà vu moments with weird stuff happening.
My mother was told all the time when I was very young that I'd 'been here before' and when I was older I heard several times I had an 'old soul' my youngest has been told the same thing.

I don't think I have.
I am open to the possibility of reincarnation.
I think our soul or energy or essence whatever you call it - exists forever.

I don't necessarily believe in reincarnation, but on the other hand...There have been stories of young children being able to do extraordinary things, from master artwork to piano concertos, but over time (usually by age 4) they lose those abilities. I don't know how to explain that. I also knew of a family who had two young sons. When they were first learning to talk (which was markedly early by developmental standards) they spoke with a Scottish accent. They lived in Ohio, and had no Scottish influences in their lives. STRANGE!

I don't really think so although every time I need to go up a flight of stairs I reach down as if to grab a long skirt and lift it so I don't trip going up. I have only owned about 5 floor length dresses in my life and they were for one time only formal events.

When I was young, under the age of four, I used to insist that my parents put my pajamas on over my clothes, because "I had to be ready for the fire." I have always been deathly afraid of fire, with no logical reason for it.
I've always assumed that I died in a fire in a last life.

I had a past life reading once and was told I had lived in France and rode horses. Could be true, who knows.
I DO believe in reincarnation.

I had the same experience inside the Louvre, of all places! I was 11 years old. I knew the craziest shortcut to the bathroom, as if I'd taken it a hundred times before. Something about the Venus de Milo shifted my perspective completely. No explanation for how I knew. <shrug> Sometimes I just know things. It's happened all my life.

I'm not sure but I've had some very realistic, repetitive dreams where everything seems so very familiar.

Nope. But I am another one who has had very strong deja-vu moments. I read an explanation of deja-vu that explained it quite satisfactorily. I do not believe in reincarnation at all. I do tell my friends that if I believed in former lives, I had to have lived in England or Ireland. Those two places "call" to me like no other place I've ever been.
