This is going to get long, but here it goes... **Warning baby death mentioned** I never believed in reincarnation, until I had children. When my DS was 3, he had an imaginary friend. Her name was Diane. He said she came to play with him, in his dreams. I was a bit taken back by the name he chose for his friend, because we didn't know anyone named Diane, but my mom had a still born baby when I was 18 months old. Her name was Diane. When Diane was born, my mom was allowed to hold her for just a second, but her face was covered, so she never got to see her. My mom said that she was lucky they let her even hold her, because that was not the norm back then, and she had to beg them to let her.(1967) She had a closed casket funeral.
About 2 months after DS starting talking about "Diane", I found out I was pregnant with DD. The more pregnant I got, the more DS talked about "Diane". I figured it was for attention, because people were interested in my pregnancy, and he wasn't the center of attention anymore.
The day DD was born, I handed her to my mom for the first time and she began hysterically crying. She looked and me and said "she is my Diane". My DD was her 6th grand daughter, and she had never said anything like that before. Once DD was born, DS never mentioned "Diane" again.
My DD is very artistic, and draws things that she doesn't understand, but "remembers". She says images just come to her. When she was 4, she made my mom a birthday card with animals on it. About a week later , my mom brought me a picture, with the card. The picture was of my mom wallpapering Diane's nursery, while she was pregnant. The animals on the card were identical to the animals on the wallpaper, down to the colors. My mom put those pictures away after the funeral, and had not taken them out of the box for 33 years.
I could go on forever about the things my DD says and does. She has always refused to wear necklaces or scarves. She can't stand anything near her neck. Diane was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.
When we took our kids to my home town for the first time, (2000 miles away), we went to my childhood church. Both of them were adamant they had been there before. My DH, who had also never been there before, realized it was the place my DS used to describe when he talked about playing hide and seek with "Diane". Neither my parents or I had any pictures of the church.
Maybe there is an explanation for it all, but I've given up trying. After 12 years of too many coincidences, I believe my DD is my sister, reincarnated.

No, but in the past week, since moving to Vancouver, I have been eating blackberries off every bush. Who knows, I might have been a black bear...

Nope. I've never felt that and it's not something I believe in.

I saw a story on dateline or 20/20 or something several years ago about a lady from Ireland who remembered her family from another life and she tracked them down in England. She was their mother and they confirmed everything she claimed. So when I hear things like that story and your story, I believe.

No I don't believe in reincarnation at all. What I believe is you are made up of the DNA of thousands of people. Why can't you have some of their memories of life experiences.

I've had a past life regression and believe your soul can return to earth many times to learn different lessons. I "know" I lived a hard life on the prairie in Nebraska 1860's maybe?
