Hello I had a good day yesterday. It's all due to having a bit more motivation now I'm doing WW. All weekend DH and I were talking about all the new, and sometimes strange, Oreo flavors. Last night he comes home with a package of the Pumpkin Spice Oreo. In the past, I'd have eaten several. Last night I ate just two. Did I want more? Sure! But instead I got up on the app and logged in my two cookies. For the record...it's a great cookie.
The evenings have always been when things get tricky for me. I basically eat great, heathly food; I just eat too much at night. My mind wants more food, not my body. Make sense? It's just a comfort thing to graze in the evening. I'm hoping the accountability of WW, helps me retrain my brain.
I also walked 2 miles last night. It's finally getting cooler in the evenings!
Happy Tuesday!

Sounds like you had a great day, tuesdaysgone! I allow myself one great dessert each week, and I have a Yasso bar each night. Keeps me happy and on track with that little reward at the end of the day. I made stuffed peppers last night, and we have several leftover. I usually have them for lunch but hubby wants them again tonight. Yes! No cooking then for me. He loves stuffed peppers so this works great. I have prayer group today then will stop at the grocery on the way home. I am low on lunch/snack stuff. And hoping the rain holds off again until I get the dogs walked. Gotta get my steps in and also wear them out. LOL! Enjoy the day everyone!

Yesterday I ate everything that wasn't nailed to the floor. I fully admit it. Lunch out with BFF and I ate latkes. Dinner I had rice. I think I am beyond that point now and can start back on eating normally (for me) again.
I started taking Ritalin and it makes me so hungry. I was to take 2x20 mg pills a day and I was flying by 8 pm and up all night long. At least tonight I am ok with just having one.
Will try to go to the gym today. Nothing seems like a priority any longer. I got my passport renewed and that didn't take long, but it took 4 months for me to go to the office and get it done. Really? 4 months? I wasn't ready until I couldn't put it off any longer. So that's done.
Ritalin is helping with motivation. My BFF needed something to do today so she came with me. (She wanted something to do today so we did that and went for lunch). I hope taking Ritalin helps me to get things done. So far it is helping me with cooking and laundry. It's not just a chore but it is something I can do and get it done and over with. That is progress. In the evening I make our soup for breakfast the next day and DS appreciates it, but I love having soup ready to eat in the morning, too. It's a bit of a treat having it ready to eat when I get up. Just boil it again and we're good to go. The food is Atkins friendly, low calorie and low carb. Breakfast isn't the problem.
Today I will really make an effort to get to the gym. Maybe I will actually get there. I am sure as heck going to try. I also need to hang up about 5 hoodies and oodles of pairs of yoga pants. That is another activity for today. They sound so simple and duh just do it already, right? This is very hard for me.

Last night I ate just two well done - I struggle with the only two aspect as well! And hoping the rain holds off again until I get the dogs walked. Gotta get my steps in and also wear them out. LOL! fingers crossed on the rain! Ritalin is helping with motivation. Good - I'm glad it's helping. Surprised it's making you hungry - it was a serious appetite suppressant for my kid. I can already tell today is going to be an eating challenge - I'm on clear liquids only tomorrow and easy to digest foods today...all of which equals hungry.

Well, I went into last night knowing I would be blowing points, and I did eat 45 points worth, but I had all my weekly SmartPoints left, so I actually stayed within my weekly points allotment (which surprised me). Interestingly, I was drawn as much to the veggies they had at the stations - Greek salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted asparagus, as I was to the meats - salmon, sirloin. And the desserts were smaller portions - chocolate mousse shooters and 1/2 blondies. At least I did sit down and track it all to the best of my ability after I got home. And today I am back to my breakfast of coffee with fat-free half n half, plain yogurt with sliced banana.

Thank you for the welcome yesterday!
It was a pretty good day. I hit 10,000 steps which I haven't done in forever. It helped that I never got a chance to stop yesterday with non stop meetings and kid stuff. We ate out last night and while I didn't make the best choice, it wasn't the worst choice either.
Today I am walking with a friend this morning then hopefully scrubbing down my kitchen.
Nighttime is the worst for me too. I finally get a chance to relax and I just want something sweet and gooey and yummy. Trying to change my mindset, but its hard.
Have a great day everyone!

Wow, sounds like everyone is doing great in the food logging department! You inspire me.
I had a great exercise day yesterday. I took the dog around the local pond, about 2.5 miles. It's our town reservoir, and I couldn't believe how low it's gotten - we are in a drought and a big chunk is just mud. The spot where my dog usually takes a drink is now exposed as beach. Sophie loved that part - she ran up and down the water's edge. She acted like a crazy puppy, but she's ten years old!
Keep at it, folks. You're all doing so well. Have a wonderful, fit day.

Hello all! I'm hanging in there with walking and doing pretty good eating. Not perfect because my fridge had some really good leftovers, but I did pretty well overall. The evening eating is so tough! It is part habit but it also can be a response to not eating enough over the course of the day. It sounds like you think it is a habitual response, tuesdaysgone so that is good insight. I usually have herbal tea after dinner and that is my signal that there is no more food.

Oh my word, well the rain held off but the humidity did not! I was gone for 50 minutes walking/jogging with the dogs in 100% humidity! It was awful. Well, at least a nice shower is in my immediate future after I cool off.

I can already tell today is going to be an eating challenge - I'm on clear liquids only tomorrow and easy to digest foods today...all of which equals hungry. If you could talk to my brain and just suggest maybe not eating peanut butter (I mean a LOT OF IT) is not in my bet interests to do so, I'd sure appreciate it. Also no latkes, no rice, no other bready or white carbs. I don't know what got into me yesterday but it was a feast day for me. All in perspective? I wish it would suppress my appetite. At least I have energy. Good luck with your fast. I hope the time goes by quickly!
