WOW!! It's hard to type with tears in my eyes. I read that other horrible post and could not believe another human could be so cruel. This post makes me smile through tears. I think you do need to go out and buy a lottery ticket - use the winnings to pay for Katniss's college fund! Congrats, there couldn't be a better update in Pea-dom ever.

LOVE this! Yeah!!! Congratulations.
Our second child came by way of a very similar story. IVF- got pregnant, lost that pregnancy. 1st cycle after period came back I was SICK. Really sick, and my belly hurt. And all those other stupid pregnancy symptoms - just like you. So I took the leftover pregnancy test because what the heck, it's there. Boom. Pregnant. Went to the ER (it was a holiday) as I had been told this would happen and it would be ectopic and I had to seek immediate care. Panic ensues. Off to the ER. They do an ultrasound and the lady pulls the machine close to her. Obviously a bad sign. Trying not to freak out when the PA comes in the room in tears. Oh dear. He finally gets it out that "there's a baby in your uterus!." He was SO excited to tell me. I'm still in shock that she is here.

Congratulations!
I know it may not be the actual definition of miracle, but I think you can believe in miracles of science, or nature, or destiny, not just of God. And in that sense, this little being truly is a miracle for you and your DH. Enjoy every moment of this!
