I just got a look at this thing and I want one but she is out of stock right now. They are expensive and shipping to Canada is hefty. But I still want one.
Somehow I lost the link but the site is
mysweetpetunia.com
I read a couple of reviews from people who ordered and they say it lives up to its hype. They are not connected to the company and the reviews are on another board not her site.

OK here's what concerns me. In the video on "their" website they actually don't actually use the product. Now I didn't have the sound on because I'm at work. But no ink was used in that demonstration.

She also shows what to do with the magnets.

That is intriguing. I had trouble finding any other videos, but did see on on the blog that used ink.
If they made it to handle 12x12 papers, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I like to stamp borders across my papers, but sometimes it can be hard to line up the stamp correctly.

I like multi-tasking tools.

Love the idea and concept....she very clever to think of that! However, I personally don't do enough stamping to justify the cost.

Interesting concept, but I have a stamp press and am pretty happy with that.

I am always stamping crooked so I think this tool would help with that. But $40 is too much for me.

This is really a super tool for making duplicates. I love it, but not sure about the $40. How many times do you make duplicates?

I'm sure if you were making oodles of Christmas Cards with the same design on OR making wedding invites/save the date/thank you etc.....it may come in handy. It looks fiddly to set up, but once it's done, it's done...so I can see the upside of it. I prefer my stamp press but I do like the gold embossed striped card she made - again, fiddly, but nice.

Actually, after giving it some more thought, I'm thinking of selling my magnetic platform for the Big Shot and buying this instead. I know they have different functions, but it would be more or less a trade $$$$$$$ wise. Besides, I hate that magnetic platform, so this could be a good excuse to get rid of it.

This is really a super tool for making duplicates. I love it, but not sure about the $40. How many times do you make duplicates? At first I thought I don't really do duplicate stamped cards. I do our Christmas cards digital with photos, and invites I usually do on the computer too. But on further reflection I actually do. I just made a pile of about 25 duplicate thank you cards which is pretty common for me! Then there are the Valentines and Mother's Day cards etc. that we send out to all the Grandmas and Aunties, and, and, and... How could I forget that? I agree this tool would be a lot more versatile if it would fit larger paper, but I get why it's sized the way it is. You could do most typical card sizes with it by folding the card first, so I wonder if it just never occurred to her that a larger size could be beneficial for other types of paper crafts?

I find this tool very interesting! Thanks for sharing. It looks like she's having a hard time keeping up with demand. Hopefully she can find a manufacturer.

Well, I looked at this web site when I first saw the OP. and agree with many comments: I don't stamp enough to justify cost. It is pricey. Shipping to Canada very pricey. I don't make multiples of cards. etc. however, none of that stopped me from buying. two of them. just waiting for them to arrive, hopefully this week. I will give one to a stamping friend for her birthday. And then I will try to do more stamping myself. When I first looked, she was sold out, then when I looked at it a couple of hours later, she had a few in stock. Then she was out again. I guess I ordered in that small window of time.

I used this tool over the weekend. I love it!
I was making our Christmas cards. It works perfectly. I put a stamp at the corner of the plate and stamped 60 envelopes within a short period of time. The plate did get ink on it outside of the stamp. None of that ink needed up in the envelope.
I haven't used it to stamp an image in the middle of a card so I can't tell you how that works with the extra ink from the ink pad.

I just posted on the site that I would love to see it hold a 12 x 12 cardstock to allow stamping around the border and all over the sheet. I received an email within a few minutes that she could make a custom sized one for me and will let me know the cost. You may want to contact her for the info.

Would you mind posting back what her quote is for a 12x12 one? That's the size I would want too.

I ordered one today. Then, of course, I had to second guess myself if I really wanted one, or I was just jumping on the "latest thing" bandwagon. I guess I'll know next week.

I had the chance to order one earlier this week. It was in my cart and everything, then I changed my mind. Would love to hear what you think when you get it.

If you subscribe to the site, you will get an email whenever she makes more. It seems to be a one woman operation. When she has time, she makes as many as she can and then posts them - usually 10-15 at a time, so you have to order as soon as you get the email, or it gets sold out...
