We want to do something fun with our kids tonight and tomorrow. We've done most of the Seattle area stuff so we thought we'd check out Portland. We've been there before but it was mostly just for sightseeing. Are there any water parks or amusement park type places near Portland that would be fun for parents plus three kids between age 6-14? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wings & Waves is south of Portland in McMinnville and is really fun. The museum is great there, too.

We were there in March, but weren't able to make it to the OMSI. I thought it looked like lots of fun!

Oaks Amusement Park. I don't have kids but I have heard it is a good time and there is a rollerskating rink there, as well.

Just doing some Google searching and something called the North Clackamas Aquatic Center came up. Anyone know anything about that?

North Clackamas Aquatic Center is fun, but not a "destination" type water park. Its a parks and rec aquatic center. The swim sessions are limited to a couple of hours.
Honestly, if you are looking for an amusement park/water park adventure you are probably better off heading to Silverwood, near Sandpoint Idaho.

We've been to Silverwood a couple of times. We were just trying to come up with something new. It doesn't have to be over the top amazing, our kids are are low key and easy to please.

When we were in Portland last summer, we went to the Zoo, which was nice and took a speed boat tour/ride. It was a blast and the kids (and parents) loved it!
