I have the Mini Misti and absolutely love it. Honestly, I never thought this would be a tool I just HAD to have but one of my customers offered it to me. Tried it out for a month before purchasing it from her and can't imagine not having one.

Sadly I have one of the original MISTIs which is now showing MANY cracks. Its still useable - for now - but I definitely wouldn't recommend getting anything "MISTI". If there is a way to replace the top piece, I'll give it a try. But at the end of the day, I think I will be buying the regular size Stampoholic.

I bought mine directly from their FaceBook page/shop. Our very own Kat Scrapiness also sells them and she currently has them on sale. Stampaholic

I ordered mine from Kat scrappiness. I am from Canada and couldn't find anywhere that could beat her price including shipping and exchange. Mind you I have a US address to ship it to which makes shipping cheaper.
She also has a new "misti" copy cat for preorder too. I went with stampaholic though because I'm a "want it now" kind of shopper! Lol

Just purchased the Mini and really like it.

I have no idea. I bought the special cleaner for it and probably use it less than most people. I noticed one crack when I started working on my Christmas cards several weeks ago... now there are too many to count. As I said, I can still use it, but for how long, I don't know. The cracking is a known issue... certainly for the older MISTIs. I'm not sure if it has been rectified with the newer ones. For your sake I hope so. Don't get me wrong, I love what it does and how much easier and better it makes my stamping experience. If it wasn't cracking and if the creator of it had been different, I'd promote it. But when I cannot use mine any longer, I'll get the competitor's version!

The current one is pretty limited: Warranty Disclaimer My Sweet Petunia offers a 90 day limited warranty on the MISTI against manufacturing defects. This warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship, and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, damage, modifications or cosmetic blemishes. The warranty is void if solvent, oil based products, Staz-On cleaner, Ultra clean, solvent cleaners, Windex, Goo Gone, alcohol, or harsh chemicals solvents are used. The warranty period begins at date of purchase. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is required with warranty claims. Return of defects maybe necessary.

When I had mine it didn't crack but it did warp which was really weird! It drove me nuts so I got rid of it. I want to get the TH stamp platform instead, not really impressed with Misti or the price!

I have a mini and a regular sized Misti. My original size cracked within warranty. It was replaced, but the replacement was a second and the rulers have gaps in them at the corners so they are not accurate. I like my Tonic TH and I have the TH travelsize version on order.

I'm now working with the Stampin' Up! Stamparatus. It will be on the market in June. So far, it's really nice and I like the features other stamp positioners are on the market don't have.

Just purchased the Mini and really like it. My LSS said that if extra magnets are used in the opposite corner(s) of where the paper is, the lid won't crack then, as it is being supported by the magnets. I have the mini and have no issues, so I haven't tried her suggestion.

I have one of the original Mistis and after using it for the 4th time, I noticed cracking. I had just been diagnosed with cancer and did not attempt to have it replaced because the owner was being ridiculous about deciding which defective products she would replace and she also was accusing people of mishandling or abusing the product and telling them it would not be considered for replacement. I just did not need that kind of stress in my life at that particular time and didn't bother to put myself through the hassle of trying to have them make good on my bad purchase. I had better things to expend my limited energy on. I have continued to use it and it has developed many more cracks and now the hinges are looking as if the adhesive is coming apart from the frame and lid. I am NOT hard on my equipment as I am on a very limited fixed income and my craft dollars are hard to come by so I do take very good care of my "stuff". It has been both babied and has very low usage. I only use the special cleaner Misti insisted be used to clean it. I put the adhesive vinyl sheet over the grid lines as directed, but the the grid lines were already sticking to my fingers whenever I accidentally touched the lid. Now it is getting wobbly due to the hinge issue and I will am saving for a replacement from a different manufacturer. I think a 90 day warranty for an item that costs as much as this one does is unbelievable and indicative of lack of confidence in the quality of the product. (I mean, I just bought a bread knife for $8.25 that comes with a lifetime replacement warranty - even if it just gets dull). With the current "limited" warranty, my feeling is, more or less, if you buy a Misti and actually use it, you will probably will have inadvertently done something and it can be alleged you have voided the warranty. Just my opinion.......
