You all are so much more knowledgeable than I. (I'm still reeling at the speed with which Darcy Collins discovered my g-g-grandfather's wedding date.) Here is my question of the day: Is there a site where I can search for images from a 1950s-era high school yearbook? Or is there another way to discover the teachers at a high school from that era? Thank you so much. You are the best.

Ancestry has some yearbooks, but it's very hit and miss. Libraries in the area of the school may have an actual copy, as may a historical society, or even the school itself.
Lastly, ebay may have one as well if you're willing to shell out some cold hard cash for one.
As for teacher names---try facebook. There are so many groups out there relating to counties, towns, or schools. Search for the name of the town, school, & county, as well as things like "You know you're from _____if" or "Memories of____" or _______ alumni etc.
Our local group is always posting pics of the schools, former teachers, etc.
Also, did you try google or youtube? Sometimes videos or photos pop up on those sites if you enter a school and decade.

Thank you so much, melanell ! Your clues led me to the very yearbook I wanted, scanned and posted online. It didn't come up in direct searches, but by starting with the local library, then linking to a school-connected alumni web site I eventually found it. You are awesome

Ancestry has some yearbooks, but it's very hit and miss. Libraries in the area of the school may have an actual copy, as may a historical society, or even the school itself. I was going to say the same thing. I recently found a friend's mother's yearbook on ancestry and sent her photos of her mother that she had never seen before! If the school still exists, they usually have all the yearbooks ever published.
