Coldplay is coming to Mn next August. My 11 year old asked if we could go. We aren't really concert people but I k is from Facebook that others take their kids to concerts. I'm just not sure what ages Coldplay would be appropriate for live? Any experiences with their concerts?

DD went a long time ago to one of their concerts. IMO, Coldplay is about as PG as you can get.

I've seen them several times and on this tour as well and the concert is appropriate for all ages! As long as your DD knows the music, she'll have a great time. I think this last Coldplay concert was the best I've ever seen. I just got tix to see them next August!!

Thanks! Any tips for actually getting the tickets? I don't know if these will be as popular but I tried to get Adele tickets several months ago and wasn't able to get them even though I was online well before the opening of ticket selling.

I had a one-time use only pre-sale code so I was able to get tix yesterday. I think all other tix go on sale Friday at 10am so I would be on ticketmaster a few minutes before 10am and just keep trying - I was able to get Adele tix that way. If it gets sold out you can always try StubHub but tix on there can be more expensive so you just need to keep checking.

I just checked and if you have a Citicard there is a presale going on currently. You simply go to the Ticketmaster site and on the drop down menu you will find the link. I was amazed at how pricey some of the tickets were going for. If not, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday. Good luck:)

I went to one about 15 years ago. Pretty tame, the only thing memorable that was different from most concerts is that I think the band or the main singer is a bit of an activist so they showed a short film before they came to play. Interestingly in Boston for years there had been a billboard about child gun deaths and the main singer saw that billboard and talked about it in late night tv and maybe even got involved in that organization, that was memorable too.

Definitely recommend Coldplay in concert. We took our 13-year-olds this summer and we all loved it!

I've seen them 3 times. The last time we took our kids and they had so much fun. Totally appropriate for all ages.

I love Coldplay! My mom has been and said she saw kids there. The vibe they give off to me seems very welcoming for kids.

I have seen them and am going again this December. I think it's suitable for all ages. It was audience interactive the time I went - we were given wristbands and the band/tech controlled when they lit up. Had an absolute blast and even kept some of the confetti that rained on us at the end. Loved it enough to go again. You'll have a great time.

I've seen them in the beautiful Gorge Amphitheater in WA. Wonderful time. Excellent choice with older kids.
