Thank you for your concern. However, from what I've seen this season, many others call people far worse names than any I've said during this campaign season. I'm sure a great many people are upset by a great many things going on during this election cycle.

Lauren reminds me of Trump a lot. She's a blow hard, then gets defensive like a child, and like his immature 3am tweets has to keep coming back over and over to finish the argument and blames other people for attacking her. |

Just out of curiosity, why declare your intention not to post on political threads in the first place? Why not just stop posting to them - no fanfare? Was there some kind of hope for pea accountability?

I REALLY can't wait until November 9, 2016 so maybe we can all be nicer to each other again.
This was a much happier board for a long time. Then this ridiculous election came along.
I think many Peas who would never have an issue with each other on any other topic ended up saying nasty, condescending things because the political threads get so heated.
I am sad about it.

I've pulled back even reading them. I've become disappointed in peas I admire:( I do wish they would have better titles or politics in the title. Now I just assume anything with him, that guy or any variation of that is about Trump. |

But the reason for this post is that if I did make a post on a political thread, there were a few peas who were extremely taunting about my posting. One even followed me from thread to thread. In the end, I figured one post saying I've changed my mind was easier than saying that repeatedly on many different threads. I've learned my lesson. From now on, no declarations. |

I honestly don't know why you would want to Lauren.
No one wants to have a real discussion because the moment that someone declares that they are a conservative or voting conservatively, the name calling and bullying comes out. There's no desire for real conversation. It's almost comical at this point to watch the threads pile up and see that conservatives aren't rising to the bait.
Step away and let them have their circle jerk.

I'm lucky, I do not have a spreadsheet Brain. Most of the time, on other threads, I can't match who said what to whom. There's a few occasions where I may remember, but not with 100% surety. So I, usually, take each thread for itself.
There's one or two peas who's antics I remember but I scroll ( usually )
And heck if I can bring my laptop and have internet access i wouldn't mind being in a room with yubon, hopefully she'd be willing to give investment advice. Lol
ETA: and besides, it was one of Yubons bitchy comments that made me finally try to rebuild my own self esteem instead of wallowing in my verbally abused secluded life.

The bitchiness on this thread is outstanding to me. Do some of y'all really talk to people in real life this way? I just don' t understand how some of you can preach peace and love but can come to this board and just act like such assholes. Sorry, I haven't had my coffee this morning so I might be a bit cranky today but seriously???
