My daughter is a scrapper like me, and for her birthday earlier this month her BIL gave her a "gift certificate" for scrap-supplies bought in the States, where he will be at vacation later this month.
But she has to either order it in advance for him to pick it up, or give him a very specific list he can take to the store.
But she don't know what to look for to find this stores or fx Hobby Lobby, can anybody help me what to look for
We live in Denmark and we don't get as much cool stuff in our shops as you have - so she is very excited for this chance (my DD and her DH was supposed (?) to take this trip with him and their cousins but because of her jobsituation they had to cancell)

I don't know of any in those cities specifically, but Scrapbook Island in Los Gatos is the only true scrap store I go to. Los Gatos is about 40 or 50 miles from SF. "The Island" as we call it, has lots of paper lines, stamps, inks, dies, stickers. It's really a place where you need to browse and look.
Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Jo-Ann are big corporate craft stores. They will have a bit of everything. You can easily find discount coupons for these stores.
I would suggest ordering from her favorite online store and have it delivered to BIL's hotel and he can bring it to her. I don't know if there is taxes involved in that though.
Sorry I'm not much help.
