My daughter is a scrapper like me, and for her birthday earlier this month her BIL gave her a "gift certificate" for scrap-supplies bought in the States, where he will be at vacation later this month.
But she has to either order it in advance for him to pick it up, or give him a very specific list he can take to the store.
But she don't know what to look for to find this stores or fx Hobby Lobby, can anybody help me what to look for
We live in Denmark and we don't get as much cool stuff in our shops as you have - so she is very excited for this chance (my DD and her DH was supposed (?) to take this trip with him and their cousins but because of her jobsituation they had to cancell)

The best store in the Bay Area (San Francisco) is Scrapbook Island's Creative Escape. It is scrapbook heaven!! They don't have much of a website, but have a good FB page. If you message them, they answer back fast. They will definitely work with her to place a special order. www.facebook.com/creativeescapelosgatos/?fref=tsIt's about 45 minutes from San Francisco though. Most brick and motar stores like Michaels, JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby will ship an online order anywhere. The Island will too I'm sure. They could arrange to be delivered at the hotel, or whereever he's staying.

There is the paper bunny in Vegas, but I'm not a fan. It's probably great for crops and such, but everything is inflated. I *might* have set aside a few dollars every month to shop if they were retail pricing, but since it's not, I won't shop there. I had super high hopes, but I was very disappointed because of it (now, keep in mind that I don't pay full price even online, I shop for bargains and very RARELY pay for anything that isn't at least 40% off, so trying to support them by being open to paying retail for a few things was HUGE for me, but I absolutely will not pay MORE than retail). It is close to the airport if you want to see for yourself, though.

Scrampers in Torrance (Los Angeles area) is great! Lots of stuff, great prices, friendly staff. They are pretty much the only SB store left in the South Bay Los Angeles area.

She could also consider ordering somewhere online e.g. Scrapbook.com and get it delivered to one of his hotels.

I second Scrampers in Torrance as a great store! But LA is a big place, so it depends on where he will be exactly. From LAX it might be 30 minutes drive or so, depending on traffic. I'm inland, east of LA, and there are a couple of good stores out here too.
