Is there a way to do a search in text messages? My friend and I had a conversation about a stamping product and I want to find the info again. I already paged thru thousands of texts, but haven't found it yet. Can I do a search?
Thx

When you open your texts and you see all the different threads you have going, just slide your finger down and you will see a search bar at the top. Very handy! I hope I explained that correctly

I hate the new way to open the phone. For multiple reasons: 1. I can't read the clock in my car with my polarized sunglasses on, but while driving, the clock at the top of my phone is too tiny for my eyes. You used to be able to hit the home button twice on the lock screen and the time would show up bigger. 2. I exclusively listen to music, audiobooks, or podcasts on my phone while driving. You used to be able to quickly and easily access them from the lock screen with home button pushes to get to the controls. Now that just opens the phone or pops up the passcode if you have it on. 3. Last, and this isn't home button related, the swipe up from the bottom seems more difficult since the update. If you're listening to something and want to access the controls while doing something else, the pull up doesn't work in some apps (seems like it doesn't work if the keyboard is on the screen) and if it does you now have to swipe to the second screen to get to the controls. Music.... When you're phone is locked... Swipe up - you'll get the flashlight, etc Once you see the flashlight window Swipe left Your music is there Text size (clock) Settings Display & Brightness Scroll to Text Size (that should help) Unlocking phone Try the fingerprint it works well. I didn't think I'd like it but I do. I think you can set up to 2 different prints.

I didn't think I'd like it but I do. I think you can set up to 2 different prints. I know there are workarounds for some things, but I don't care for the workarounds because they are more taps / clicks than they used to be. The music / podcast controls used to be on the home screen when you tapped the home button twice. Two taps, but without moving my thumb. I knew exactly where the arrows were so I could scroll through music without looking at my phone at all while I'm driving. Now two taps open the phone, then I have to go into the app to scroll through music. Not real safe while driving, so obviously I don't anymore. Or I can swipe up... I CAN access the swipe up in most apps, but not all. If there's a keyboard in the app (texts, email, the TapaTalk app), the swipe up does NOT work. It used to. And, instead of just swipe up to get to the controls I have to swipe up AND swipe left. I know I'm being picky and swiping twice is really not a big deal, but I can still find it annoying. And for text size, it's ONLY the clock on the home screen when I'm listening to something through my phone. Changing the text size will change it for most everything (which I do not want), but does not change the clock size.

I used to be able to copy a text from one person to another without having to retype it all. I would do that by double clicking on the text message then picking copy. Now when I do that, I get a heart, a thumbs up, a thumbs down, etc.
Can I not copy a text to someone else now?
