We are getting rid of cable. Already have Netflix and an Apple TV. We enjoy a few network shows like Big Bang, Elementary, Survivor etc. I also love the competition shows like Project Runway and Top Chef.
So we signed up for the free trial of Hulu Plus but I am failing to see why this would be a good fit for us. It might be because networks are on their off seasons. But I don't see any of these shows as available.
Any other streaming service suggestions or thoughts are also greatly appreciated.

It never worked for me without buffering constantly, no matter what device I used. Friends had similar complaints.
I got rid of it and don't miss it.

Where I live my only Internet option is satellite. Because of this I can't use services like Netflix or Hulu plus. I simply don't have enough data per month to do this

We didn't think it was worth it. Never went past the free trial. They didn't have much of anything that we like to watch, and the commercials were a deal breaker.
We're happy with Netflix and Amazon Prime.

I found Hulu almost useless. I put an end to the free trial period after just a few days. I stick with Netflix, Amazon and even YouTube at times.

We only have hulu and netflix. I have a few shows I have to watch, mainly Grey's anatomy. I really need to reassess this this fall and see if amazon is a better fit. It really depends what you watch. I went through all the shows on each when we signed up. Netflix and july go good together but I'm the only one in the house that watches hulu.

I guess it depends on what shows you watch. We have Netflix and Hulu and watch Hulu all the time. With a few exceptions, it has shows we used to watch on cable available the next day.

What Nink said. We use it like a DVR to watch shows the very next day. That way we don't worry about catching them when they're on,staying up to watch them or streaming them through a laptop. We love our Hulu Plus. We use it on our Roku, never and streaming issues. We also have Netflix and Amazon. We watch all 3 for different shows/reasons.

I am currently asking myself the same question. I have hulu plus, next lox and an antenna for me local channels but seldom use hulu. I am looking at reevaluating hulu in the fall.

I use Hulu almost daily to watch current shows. There isn't much on right now because it is summer, but there is about 5 shows that I watch every week on Hulu. I don't pay for Huluplus. The regular free hulu works well for me. Check to make sure that huluplus actually has the shows you want before you subscribe.
Also, don't forget to check the networks site. I have watched Big Bang Theory on CBS.com before, so you don't need hulu to watch BBT.

I didn't have a great experience with Hulu Plus, so I cancelled it. When I called to cancel cable, they gave me a free year so I kept it.
My mom cancelled cable and got a digital antenna and she's able to pull in all of the major networks without any monthly bill. Most shows are on the network's websites the next day, so if she misses a show, she can usually watch it via the website.

If it would have worked on my device, I would have kept it, but it sucked.
But to answer to the specific shows you mentioned, absolutely not. No current CBS on Hulu, maybe none at all but I don't remember. To watch the shows you mentioned I think you'll have to go to CBS.com, and as of a while ago, they didn't update for almost a week after the show.
