Dang and dagnabbbit! This morning was my weigh in and I stayed exactly where I was last week. I really thought I might have lost a little this week. I did well last week with eating and exercise, but I guess my body has other ideas. I'll keep slogging along because I do believe what I'm doing will eventually work.
So, it's off to another day and I'll try some more. I did pack 5 healthy and interesting lunches yesterday. It's nice to grab-and-go in the morning.
I hope it's a good Monday for you.

Me too!! I'm doing WW online and today is my weigh in day. I stayed within my points and had 12 weeklies left over. I did triple the required fit points and I'm up 0.8 pounds!!
I've brought out the food scale and measuring cup. I need to measure and weigh my food LOL. I'm also planning on attending waterfit 3 times in the next week in addition to my goal of 70,000 steps. I had 67,000 steps this past week. Slightly less than my goal.
Staying on plan to exercise and eat well. Healthy is the goal. Good luck everyone.

I use my weekly weigh-in at the clinic as my official weigh-in (my scale is a bit different), and usually do that on Thursdays. I've missed the past 2 weigh-ins though as BIL died unexpectedly and as DH is his only relative, we had to go take care of matters. So by the time I weigh-in on Thursday, it'll have been 3 weeks.
But guessing from my home weigh-ins, I'd say I'm now down 70 pounds (give or take half a pound). I'm now at a good weight for me, but I set my goal for another 10 pounds, just to give me a buffer. I'm back and forth as to whether I should just go for 5, or stick with the original 10 more pound goal. I think I'll talk to my coach about this sometime in the next week or 2.
Being away from home the past 2 weeks to deal with BIL's matters, I have to say I'm proud of myself for not eating one single thing that I shouldn't be eating. I didn't eat as many vegetables as I should have, and missed some supplements and water, but food-wise, I was spot-on. It was the first time in 6 months that it was really hard for me to do that, though.
I'm down between 4 and 5 sizes in clothes - from a 20/2X to a medium in tops and a 10 or a 12 in pants.

Nanner I'm sorry to hear about your brother in law. . Great job sticking to the plan, though. I started taking Thrive products on Friday. I am a big skeptic, but have several people in my life that swear by it and thought I would give it a try to see if it helps with my energy. Weight loss would be a bonus. I'm not quite sure how I like it yet. Friday I really didn't feel good, but I also didn't drink any pop that day. Saturday and Sunday I drank one pop and that helped. I'll keep you posted if it helps with appetite or anything wonderful. Part of the reason for doing it was to stop drinking pop (the others I know all stopped drinking pop and coffee without huge issues). If I can at least do that, it will be worth it. So far I have cut down a lot. Decided after Friday that I better not do it cold turkey. I also signed up for a 30 day BBM slimdown challenge that starts next Monday. I'm excited! It was $97 but you get the workouts, a simplified meal plan, and a more close-knit support group. With all of the money I have spent on health this week, I hope to see some results! We took family pics yesterday. Seeing those pics was enough to make me motivated to stay on track. My face is so huge! Ugh. Hope you all have a good Monday!

Nanner, sorry about your BIL. And you sound like me--I am at a good weight for me but would like to lose 10 more. Great job on the 70 lb. loss! I have almost 7,000 steps in already this morning. I actually prefer to be a bit higher than that by this time of the morning but one doggie didn't want to walk/jog. And I am actually tired this morning so he could probably tell that mama just wasn't feelin' it today. Not sure about meals yet this week. The kiddos were home for 4 days and I have our pup that just had surgery to take care of so I have been lax. Better get on that today. Enjoy the day everyone!

I've been away in Turkey for two weeks and just got home on Saturday night. I took my running shoes and running gear with me but didn't actually go running. But I did lots of walking and some biking and generally had quite a wonderful time with my husband. I ate a fair amount of things I probably shouldn't of but my weight has stayed the same. I still feel quite jetlagged and tired and I was up this morning at 4 AM because I couldn't sleep but I just went for my first run in 2 weeks and it was all right.
This week is a little stressful for me as I'm having a Cortizone injection in my shoulder on Thursday and an abdominal CT scan on Friday. If I can keep myself from stress eating and get out running a couple of times I'll consider it a success.
