What is your favorite planner and why? I'm not looking for one to create - I tried the Midori type planners and creating/decorating pages just not for me (though I love the ones that everyone else is doing). I've looked at the Erin Condren but it seems very pricey - need a little bit more budget friendly. But, would still like one that holds a lot information.

I never thought I'd buy a planner. But, I fell in love with the Reset Girl collection and bought it. It is a little larger than I thought it would be, but I love it. link

The passion planner is what I use. You can go to the site and download a paper version for free, which is what I did initially to see if I liked it.

You don't HAVE to be creative in the Midori, you know (I'm certainly not).

I used a Plum Paper planner this year and felt the quality was every bit as good as the Erin Condren I've used in previous years. The basic planner starts at $32 but you can customize to add more pages. www.plumpaper.com/shop

I am not a big planner person. I thought in this season of my life, I didn't need one. Well, DS has just been sworn in to the Navy and there's lot of countdown and scheduling things going on now. I just picked up a Recollections planner at Michaels. They are $19.99 and you can use a coupon. They go on sale 50% off every now and then. They do have planner inserts with a full year calendar and monthly dividers or little notebooks for $4.99. These cover a range of subjects - meal planning, to do lists, calendar, sketching, on and on. The pages are meant to be pulled from the booklets and placed in the planner. They already have the holes punched where they need to be. I went this route. I just pull out a a full month or two and a couple of menu/meal planning pages and work from that.

I am in a ring binder Kikki K gold. I use inserts from Cocoa Daisy and there is nothing exciting about my planning. I write down thoughts, ideas, things to do. I journal until my brain has nothing else to think about. I have a really special planner and it is my gratitude planner. It is very special because I write notes to myself about love, hope for my family, love for my parents, my son, my friends, that kind of thing. It is just Personal sized binder with printed out pages in it. I love it. I haven't written it in for a number of months. I should as I have so much to be grateful for.
I have stickers and stuff for my planner but I don't use them that often. I do weekly spreads sometimes. I also have planner stamps. Don't ask how many I have used as it still remains on the to do list!

I gave up paper planners after using them for well over 40 years. I was strictly using my iPhone and a wall calendar that I tore off and tossed each month's page once the month was over.
I upgraded iPhones last year and lost some info during the transition. Because of that, I decided to add a paper planner to my record keeping because I no longer felt comfortable having everything only on my phone. It took me over 6 months to decide on a planner. I finally decided on the Create 365 Happy Planner. I bought it at Michael's when I had a 60% off coupon.
It wasn't until I bought it, that I discovered that the Happy Planner has a huge huge following. I joined a Facebook page about the Happy Planner and holy moly! It's like a Planner cult! They discuss every little nuance about the Planner, all of the add-ons, pages, washi tape, etc and then decorate them beyond recognition. LOL.
I don't decorate mine, I just use it for record keeping. I bought 2017's Planner when Michaels had another 60% coupon. I think I'll have a better idea of how much I like or don't like the Happy Planner once I've used it for a full year. I do like that there are expansion packets with different types of pages available and I was able to buy larger rings to expand the planner itself, so I could add more pages. Very handy. The squares you write in are large enough for my purposes. It is a large planner and rather bulky, but I don't carry mine around it just stays at home.
My DD's iPhone 6 just bricked on her this weekend and she has lost so much info. I'm trying to convince her to start using a paper planner too.
ETA: I still use a large wall calendar, too. I lead a boring life, but trying to keep track of our schedules, plus our DDs and grandson's (travel hockey practice 2-3 times a week, plus out of state travel almost every weekend! I need a visual reference to keep it all straight! Ha)

I mainly stick with my phone and wall calendar. I use Mom's Weekly Planner for memory keeping. There are other cover options. I don't decorate it and I use a Pilot erasable pen. I keep the planner at home. Another pea said the ink can fade in the hot sun.

It is a little larger than I thought it would be, but I love it. linkI have this planner but not this paper. When I bought the monthly refills they were about $15. There are a ton of pages for lots of record keeping. I mostly just use the months for work. My life is just not eventful enough to need a planner. My fridge holds a calendar that has three things on it a month.

I use it for all my lists - grocery store, Costco, misc., to do now, to do sometime. I add notes to myself in it. This way everything is together.

When I retired, a received a note pad that said The One Thing I Will Do Today… It had about 25 lines under it. I use it on a rare occasion. We also have a long spiral pad that is about 3" x 10" that we keep by the phone for a grocery list. I don't do the grocery shopping, so I just add to it whenever I think of things.
