.. a friend's daughter with newspaper articles about her volleyball accomplishments in high school. She committed to play at a d1 university and had a signing day where I took pix to include in the scrapbook. She has since de-committed and is playing at another d1 school.
My question is should I include the article and photos from her signing day, even though she's not attending that school? Or leave them out?
Any insight would be appreciated!

I would include them. It's quite the accomplishment to be sought after by more than one university for athletic prowess, even if ultimately she decided not to attend. I wouldn't make a big splashy page out of it, but I'd at least include the photos and have a space for journaling. Maybe she would want to add her own thoughts. Just be sure to include a page about the school she did decide to attend after that.
If you're giving this as a gift before she leaves for college, I'd also suggest including a few blank pages at the end for her to add news articles and photos from her college experiences. Make a pocket page or two for her to easily slip in her articles. Consider giving the book with a small package of tape runner, a few themed stickers, letter stickers, archival journaling pen so she has everything she needs - keep the supplies small and simple.

Check with her Mother. She knows if her daughter would want that in the scrapbook. Personally, I would include it.
