I am inundated with beams from my garden and have been blanching,prefreezing, vac sealing, freezing the last few days. After I blanched my last set of beans I lay them out to dry on a tea towel. I usually only have them dry for an hour or so but I fell asleep so the blanched beans have been on my countertop for over 8 hours. Is it safe to still vac seal these beans and freeze them?? I am assuming yes but not sure. TIA

I wouldn't be afraid of it. Look how long fresh green beans lay in grocery stores?

I'd freeze them, use them, and eat them.

I would absolutely freeze, them and eat them. They are vegetables, not meat or dairy.

I'd freeze them, use them, and eat them. Yes........ The purpose of blanching is to kill any germs. Leaving them out 8 hours didn't help the beans--but, IMO, they are still safe to eat.
