of the first. Outlander is on tonight. Will this one be the same one from last week or a new one?

I thought tonight was the premiere. I know people have seen it early - but I was under the impression tonight is the official premiere.

Can't wait - the DVR is set in case we don't make it back in time from a party we are going to today.

DH and I are going out for date night, but I've got the DVR set to record. This time I'll be able to see it in HD and full screen! I can't wait to watch it when I get home. I'm in the middle of reading "Voyager" which is book 3 in the series-it's amazing!

I couldn't get it to play anywhere but on my ipad for the preview so I'm looking forward to it on the full screen too! My DH has heard so much hype about it that now he is interested and asked if he could watch with me. He never watches TV, so that will be a nice thing to have in common.

For date night DH and I always go out to Whole Foods to eat dinner and then on to Barnes and Noble to spend a few hours (3 or so) gathering a pile of books and sitting at the cafe sipping a coffee and reading through the books. Last night while waiting in line for the coffee the man behind us was holding a copy of "Outlander" in his hands. I turned around and asked him if he was planning on buying it. He said, "Yeah, my wife recommended it to me." I told him it was the best book I ever read. I then asked him if he was going to watch the series on Starz and he said he was.
So here was a middle aged man buying the book for himself to read. He seemed a bit shy to I didn't further the conversation.
I got home, settled down with a bowl of fresh cherries from Whole Foods (my favourite fruit) and watched "Outlander" in HD and full screen. DS was supposed to join me but he'd been up to Baltimore to be an extra in a HBO series the day before and was exhausted from a full day of filming. DS is the college senior who's majoring in film I'm always talking about. He said he still wants to watch "Outlander" with me though. DH has no interest sadly.

PS. Forgot to say it was wonderful to see "Outlander" in HD and on my big screen TV. I l still especially loved the circle dance while the sun is coming up. I thought that was filmed so beautifully. Everything works in that scene. The music, the dancers, and the sun all combine so beautifully!
