It's storming here in MA.
I am 53 years old and I still sleep with my head under my pillow when it's storming at night.

I live in a highrise building, on a higher floor. I love to see the thunder & lightning cells form over Lake Ontario. Beautiful show of how fierce nature can be.
Hide under your pillows. I hope that you can get some peace & rest.

I'm just over the NH border, so yup, lots of thunder and lightning. Downpours! We've needed this rain for awhile. I don't mind all the flash and noise, but my younger DD and the dog are hiding under the blankets.

I love a good thunder boomer. It's relaxing and I sleep so good on stormy nights. Tornadoes excluded of course.

My poor older pup is not happy with the thunder. I was running errands this evening & it was nasty!

I don't mind them but one dog and the kid hate them and they both end up in my bed if one rolls through at night.

we almost never get lightning here..so we are all out watching it when it did happen. I loved the summer I spent in a fire lookout..in the storms, I would sit in my chair with my feet on a stool..both of which had insulators on the feet of the furniture.. often quite a show. I spotted a fire during one storm.. a tree was hit..the crew could never find it..they could smell it..but the rain put it out a couple of days later.

I absolutely love a good thunderstorm! The louder and brighter the better! Send it my way!

We generally don't get thunder and lightning storms out here. DH and I got engaged in an credible storm in Baton Rouge. I figured it was a sign from above.
