I love using this technique to use my washi stash. Have you tried this technique or done something else to use a lot of your washi stash?

Great idea! Must try this for a layout as well. I have a lot of washi to use up!

Your card is very sweet! Now the key part of your question is "using a LOT of your washi stash". LOL When I was still teaching Pre-K, I would take rolls of washi in and put it at the art center for the kids to use in their free art projects. Now I've started using yards of washi to secure the bubble wrap when my sweetie sends out his ebay packages. After I brought my washi collection out in the open so I could access it easier and needed six 48" dowels to fit all the rolls, I realized I couldn't possibly use it up in 10 lifetimes. It seemed silly not to put it to good use and hopefully his customers get a kick out of their bright and cheerful packages.

I think between washi tape & patterned paper it would take multiple lifetimes to use it all up. Haha!!

I end up using most of my washi to extend the life of my silhouette mats by taping down my paper, or use it to finish off the back of my layouts where I have brads, stitching, etc. There's nothing creative about it...but most rolls come with 10 yards more than I need!

I have only used washy to hold dies in place. I don't think I've ever used it on a card or on the layout
