Before I bought a stamping tool I did the research and there was no difference between the two except for the size. And basically no difference between brands except for cost and color. So when I (finally) decided to purchase the Stampoholic the larger size was on sale for the price of the Nano. So I went bigger.
I see that a lot of the blogger card-makers using the mini 'other one' and it's seems like size is not a problem for an A2 card front.

I have the regular size and like it a lot. It just gives a bit more stamping area than the Nano. If you just do cards and like to card fronts separately than I think the Nano would be perfect.

I purchased the bundle (regular and nano) from their site. Both are great but I like the nano a little bit more because it doesn't take up too much space on my small craft table. I'm giving my Mom the regular size.

I have the Stampaholic Nano. It is AWESOME.
It's perfect for stamping card fronts and the insides of cards and photos and pocket scrapping cards.
I don't really need anything bigger. I don't stamp on layouts.
I bought mine from KatScrappiness too.
