I've got: 2 types of tomatoes- Romas and Wisconsin55 (heirloom variety developed at UW-Madison) Bell Peppers Eggplant Onions Carrots Zucchini Butternut squash Watermelon (I never have a lot of luck with these but DD insisted) Cabbage Basil and, against my better judgement, peas. Something always comes along and chews them off. Last year we only got about 4 pods. But DD insisted.

The last two years were a bust for my garden so I went really light this year. Tomatoes, leaf lettuce, radishes, basil, globe basil and spicy oregano.

We have these MONSTER Jack-in-the-beanstalk-looking tomato plants with really thick "limbs" & nice green foliage, yet very little actual fruit started on them so far. That happened with a lot of stuff last year too--thinking lack of honeybees because we have really fertile soil in our raised beds & tending to everything properly.

Currently I've got some standard and cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, assorted sweet and bell peppers, fairy tale eggplant (small plants that make tiny teardrop shaped eggplants that you can eat skin and all), Ichibon eggplants, cucumbers, a few more blueberries ripening on the bushes, both the lemon trees and orange tree made fruit, various herbs (basil, dill, parsley, oregano, thyme, mint, chives, and rosemary). The bay leaf tree is doing well and growing like mad. Also some small striped melons that end up about the size of a softball, and can be trellised. Green beans are over and done for the season, as is anything remotely cool weather related like cilantro, kohlrabi, and lettuce. And the zucchini didn't do much for me again this year. I always hope against hope that I will beat the squash vine borers, but never manage to get much of a harvest before they do their damage.

I cut back variety and added more plants this year.
50 tomato plants for canning 15 basil plants 6 various types of squash 3 small herb gardens with assorted herbs 20 various types of peppers
I also have a mystery garden. My greenhouse blew over in a storm and I was left with a muddy mess of destroyed seedlings and mixed up roots. I salvaged what was left and planted those sorry little seedlings in a little spot in my back yard. Can't wait to see what comes up!

You can tell I'm used to browsing on gardenweb forums because I kept looking at your names to find what zones you are in! We have been doing lots of landscaping work this year...my husband finished building my 6 raised beds for the potager and last week we finished installing the edging. I have yet to mulch the paths though. I have oregano, rosemary, beans, tomatoes and my daughter's lone pumpkin as far as herbs & veggies go. The rest of the boxes are planted with rescue plants I brought from our last home. I'm glad too, because I drove past a few weeks ago and the new owners have torn everything out. That's okay; it's their house now, but I'm glad I brought a few of my favorites along! We have been brainstorming on how/where to fit a deer fence in for a proper vegetable garden though. The deer are terrible here.

I have a few small green tomatoes and some flowers but I was concerned this morning when I realized how few flowers there are. The plants are doing awesome but I'm not sure we're going to get a lot of tomatoes.

I will always remember one year when I carefully nurtured a mystery seedling along and wondered what it was. Imagine my dismay when I was out driving the country roads and discovered hundreds of my "mystery plant" growing wild alongside the ditches. Yes indeed, I was carefully tending a weed. Mullein I think it was?

Tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, onions, and okra! I'm already harvesting okra which, I'm praying, means we should have a great yield this year!

Not much, didn't plant one of the raised beds at all, just too busy .
I did put in tomatoes, peppers and basil. All are growing great. Also planted a raspberry and blueberry bush, curious how those go.

I don't have a garden but there's a farm stand a couple of miles from here. I stop often and get the best vegetables. Yum! I don't can any more and cooking for one just doesn't justify putting in a garden, not to mention the work involved. I admire people who can and do tend to gardens
