Hi!! I’m Lee. I remember being on 2 peas original long ago and then just getting crazy busy! Glad Rita told me about the refugees and encouraged me to join!! I am still an active paper crafter but my kids are now grown and have flown the nest! Tackling health issues and crazy life is probably what most of us have to do but paper crafting and gaming and reading are wonderful distractions!! Looking forward to meeting you all!!

I've been a lurker for some time, and just recently decided to become a member. I post on some other forums and boards, but I've found some fun info here. I don't really have a blog, I suppose the closest thing I have to it is my page on Scrapbook.com, since that is where I get a lot of my supplies and they let me post my cards, regardless of where the supplies came from.

I am a disability retiree, so I do crafts to keep myself busy. After having been a night manager for a craft shop as a second job some years ago, I've dabbled in many handcrafts. However, crochet is my first love, having been taught by my grandmother when I was around 8 years old. My second passion became paper crafting - primarily cards - just a couple years ago.

Hi, I'm Betty - I started making very simple cards a while ago, and am finally getting around to learning how to stamp, heat emboss, use special folds, etc.

I've been watching technique videos on YouTube, which is probably how I discovered this forum. After a few guest visits to get a sense of the group, I knew I wanted to be a Pea. Thanks for letting me join!

So, new here today, just a quick intro... I work more with paper flowers, paper beads, etc. Dabble in scrapbook every blue moon... but mostly make awareness spoons to uplift people. I worked for fed govt for 18 plus years then had to be medically retired due to covid... so yes.. gives me more time to work on my hobbies and crafts, but not exactly what I had in mind at 50. But its a blessing in disguise I am sure... glad to be here and looking forward to learning new tips and tricks! I do have website at sospoons.com if you want to see more of my work.

Hi, everyone! I’m Jen and in a former life, I made cards and bookmarks. I believe my name was NurseButtercup on “the old” forums. I never got rid of all of my scrapbooking stuff and I was excited to find this place during a bout of insomnia. Going to see if I can get back into stamping, I even bought the Stamparatus based on advice I read here! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I also have quite a few things that are new and never used, and brand new (still in original packages) that I’d like to sell. I had a Cuttlebug that I loved, stocked up on cutting and embossing dies and never got to use them. I was excited to read that people still enjoy theirs. I’m hoping someone might be able to get some use out of these if their Cuttlebug is still tickin! I also have several Cricut cartridges which have never been used, a couple still sealed in their original packages. (My Cricut days were VERY short lived and I used the same cartridges repeatedly - which are now used to make baby name cards at work - along with my Cricut!)

If anyone might be interested in seeing what I have, feel free to let me know - or to point me in the direction of where I should look for crafty folk who might appreciate this “vintage” stuff! I can always go the eBay route, too.

I’d love to see if the forum is still active - I’m not seeing much right now, but did see recent posts the other night when I registered. I’m eager to start playing around with stamping and making use of all of the beautiful paper I’ve hoarded for all of these years! 👍🏼

I'm not sure about the avatar. So you can see it in your profile settings. There's a box when you go into the avatar tab in your profile that gives three options for how your avatar is displayed. I have selected the one that says "Use only the uploaded/linked". Is that the one you have selected?

Hello Peas! I'm Amy...I think I used to go by the same user name at the old 2Peas website, although I lurked more often than I posted back then. I am so happy and excited to find y'all! I was SO SAD to lose the original 2Peas forum, and at the time, I didn't realize that everyone had moved here. I was out of the loop with paper crafting for quite awhile, but I have been getting back into it this year. I have a LOT of catching up to do!
