Hi Everyone!
This is the same name I used on the old board.I just found out about the board from a customer last week and am so happy to be here! I was mostly a lurker but did post every once in a while.
I really missed Batya's book posts and am happy to see that is back (although Im not sure it's her? Still trying to figure everyone out!)
I live in Alberta, Canada. I opened a scrap store about a year ago and am loving every minute of it.
Looking forward to more reading with my morning coffee!

You have a scrap store that would be so nice! I would love to be my own boss I am sure I would never make a profit in a scrap store though. I would want to use it all myself lol.

Hi! I'm so glad I found this board! I was on the original 2Peas for a few years but I wasn't a regular poster at all. I was more of a lurker. I doubt any one would remember me, so I am reinventing myself here. I hope to participate more.
When 2Peas closed, I missed all the scrapping tips, and gallery postings. I also lurk at another scrapbooking site, but it just isn't the same as lurking at 2Peas. I also peeked in on the NSBR board for general chatter. I learned a lot and also busted a gut laughing more than a few times! So I am happy another place was created and so many of the old Peas came over. It's like I'm HOME!
I am going to try not to be a lurker here and participate more. Ok, time to check this place out!

So happy to be here. I joined 2Peas 7 or 8 years ago. After I went through a divorce I stopped scrapping for a while but always read Ali's blog. When she mentioned this summer that the old website was closing, I was so sad. I was a daily reader of the NSBR for years and years. Recently I started scrapping again and found this site. Looking forward to the holidays and the NSBR Threads. I'll never forget the "no turkey" fiasco. Lol.

I have more than 50 houses (X-mas in the City./ Dickens/Snow Village/) many accessories as well. I'm willing to share the postage expense. I have enjoyed these houses for many years my children are grown and have no interest in them and we are downsizing and don't have the room to display them properly. I stopped collecting in 2002 so most if not all of them are retired. If anyone would like to have some or all of my collection please get in touch with me. I will give you very fair price and share the postage with you |

I'm new here as well - I lurked at 2peas back when you were at the old board and found out where you all had gone after listening to a ScrapGals podcast. I've always wanted to join, but worried I wasn't a "good enough" scrapper. I've decided not to worry about it and just do it. I'm Kris, from Ohio, I'm 39, have three daughters, and have been scrapping for probably 12 or so years. I've recently switched to mainly pocket scrapping but love both. I'm excited to join you all! |

We were all pretty blown away when 2 Peas closed, but we all seem to like 2peasrefugees very much. I agree that it's hard to find a place online like the peas. I hope the One Post Wonders here will come back and post again, and I hope that the Shy Members are starting to feel less shy. |
