We've been wanting a 2nd dog for a long time, but agreed to wait until YDS was old enough to be part of the excitement of adding a new member to the family. He turned 3 in April and we've been looking pretty seriously since. We heard about a multi-rescue event being held today, went out for brunch and then went to check it out. This guy picked us out as soon as my little guy walked up to him. They literally hugged each other. We made a lap around and YDS went back to see him. So, we filled out an application. A little while ago, we got the call that he's all ours. We pick him up tomorrow afternoon! Meet Si --  |

I don't usually respond to dog threads. I'm a cat person and I don't really get dogs but he is so cute. He looks like he wants to be hugged and loved. He's lucky you found him.

Thanks . We are going to leave his name alone -- Si. He is 2 years old and was given up by a married couple when they had a baby and decided they didn't have time for both baby and dog, He is a terrier mix, they think Scottish Terrier plus something with longer legs. He has a ton of energy and his foster said he's really a funny dog. We will have to do some obedience training, but he is housebroken and crate trained. We can't wait to get him home and settled in. |

Awww. He rescued you. Second dogs give the first dog so much more life. When we brought our beast home at eight weeks old, the six year old sheltie just looked at me and then played with him very gently. She has been the best big sister and they love having each other around. Our sheltie also dropped about five pounds after he arrived. Corgis have the moves and having two herding dogs is a hoot.

Oh no, I can't handle the cuteness overload. I love him!!! Those ears, you'll be able to pick up broadcasts from the next state over. And those white sox!!
We both have new black puppies! Lucky you can get your baby tomorrow, I have to wait till Tuesday to get Jaxson.
Wish we lived closer, our babies could have a play date.
Enjoy your new baby, he is just a love bug. Post more pic once he's home!! Our pups can have a virtual meet and greet!
