There should be a scrapbooking advent calendar, and for each day you open the little door, another supply is in there.
So many supplies could fit inside.
Roll of washi tape.
Die cuts. Ephemera.
Paper flowers.
Small die.
Small stamps.
Sequins.
Enamel dots, if they were on a strip and rolled up, instead of on a sheet.
So many possibilities.
So why are scrapbook manufacturers not jumping on this? They know we love surprises (mystery boxes and bags ring a bell?)

You should totally make one for a scrappy friend!
No actual framework, but in a Christmas gift exchange at another site, one lady individually wrapped and numbered 24 tiny items and one larger one. It was exciting to open one of those little packages each day of December! The next year I did the same thing for a different person in the exchange, and she loved it too.

That's such a great idea! A friend is gifting a planner to her dd, that would be a great way to give her the extra fun supplies. Why hasn't a company created one? We do mostly work with small pieces. I wish my dd was into papercrafting, it would be fun doing one for someone. Maybe someday!

We did this a couple of years ago at a Danish forum like this one. We were in groups of 6 and each person send 4 gifts to everyone in the group, and for one of them the gift was something a little more expensive for the 24 th. Later we continued this with the my DD my mom my sister and a scrap friend, but only for sunday-gifts At some of the scrapstores, we or fx our DH can order an adventcalender, you give a pricerange and interest: PL, card, scrapbooking, Girl boy vintage etc and you got a pack with individuel wrapped gifts - my DD got one at her DH a couple of years ago, great succes 😄

Love this idea.
DD is crafty but has been taken off gluten, dairy, eggs, all artificial dyes, plus. I have to buy specialty candy and not all of it fits in our advent. I love the idea of little crafty items instead. Last year, I added pieces of paper that said go grab day "x" bag and included novelty pens/pencils and other items that wouldn't fit in the calendar.

Ooooh! Ali could do one for December Daily. Some new little trinket to incorporate into your DD album each day. That would be so fun!

i really want to do a planner one for someone! My dd wouldn't enjoy it, but my niece would. If I can figure out 24 accessories, I'm in! (And I'll need to come up with something different for dd so she doesn't get too jealous, maybe the David's Tea)

I think it could be a fun and doable swap idea if the parameters were such that the items had to fit in a baseball card page protector pocket, similar to a pocket letter, which could even be folded up and mailed in a regular envelope if needed.
My scrapping friends and I all have a ton of extra stuff laying around, and with a month to put it together it might just be something we could still pull off!

Not quite the same thing, but my mom didn't have time to do a stocking for me one year and my BFF amblet thought I needed a stocking so she made me one. It had all sorts of things in it and plenty of scrappy things! Different from an Advent calendar but still scrapbooking supplies that I had no idea what I was getting! Definitely a hit. This year we are just exchanging gifts I think. Scrapbook related of course.

Well I am so lucky. grammadee took this idea and ran with it. Check out what she did for me. I got it on December 10, so I got to open 10 gifts at once. I got washi, tea, a flower, a distress mini pad, a bottle of glossy accents, perfect pearls. It is such an awesome gift.
